One only needs to look at the debt clock to see why undocumented immigration is not sustainable.
Currently every citizen from their first breath is $68,267 in the hole, and for every working tax payer it's $182,786 in the hole.
But if you go further down the rabbit hole you will see the following,
Total US national assets are + $155.5 trillion, while unfunded liabilities sits at (negative) - $125.2 trillion! That puts each us citizen at (negative) - $380,131 in the hole!
It just keeps getting better eh?
So clearly these people immigrating here have no idea what they are getting themselves into! But anyone paying attention to the numbers will quickly realize that it's nothing personal - we can't afford it! Many humanitarians will suggest that it doesn't matter, because the United States should be compassionate, but absent a good way for everyone to do their part and keep the system running there can be no order. That is about the best way I can put it!
These influxes of "asylum seekers" want to cut in the front of the line and that is not fair if they don't qualify for that "emergency" benefit. Then there is the other side of the coin that dictates that the United States infrastructure can not afford to make humanitarian concessions for everyone in the world, or even half the people in South America all at once! Liberals want to make the case that Conservatives just don't care but nothing could be further from the truth! Conservatives just care more about our citizens than of others and to me as a family man that is most important! You don't even have to be a family guy to appreciate this. It's a very hard nut to crack but I think a majority of American citizens will agree, do what we can for others but help ourselves first and foremost.

Not sure what political party you are referring to... As a Democrat and gun owner, I have yet to have anybody try to take my guns away, and they would have a hell of a fight on their hands if they did. Furthermore I have never heard a nationally elected politician take an oath to keep us safe, though they did take an oath to uphold the Constitution.
I believe there are internment camps on the Southern border, and hopefully they don't become concentration camps.
