More nukie stuff

Don't want to clog Hiroshima thread or dilute it. Here's another thread for nukies!!!

Scientists hope to sell vodka made from grain grown in Chernobyl's exclusion zone

They say it's 'no more radioactive than any other vodka'

Would you drink anything distilled from crops grown within the exclusion zone surrounding a nuclear waste site? A group of scientists hope so and have created the first bottle of "Atomik," a vodka made from grains cultivated from the Chernobyl disaster area.

What are the details?

The researchers from Britain and Ukraine have launched what they call an "artisanal" spirit, which they claim is "radioactive-free" or, at least, "no more radioactive than any other vodka."

According to the scientists, the purpose of their project is to help restore the region surrounding Chernobyl, which was abandoned following the 1986 meltdown of a nuclear power plant. They say they will give "75 percent of profits back to the affected community."

Professor Jim Smith of the University of Portsmouth is part of the effort, and issued a statement in announcing Atomik's launch, saying, "I think this is the most important bottle of spirits in the world because it could help the economic recovery of communities living in the Zone of Obligatory Resettlement where new investment and use of agricultural land is still forbidden."

Through the development of the scientists' social enterprise, "The Chernobyl Spirit Company," Professor Smith says, "We aim to make a high-value product to support economic development of areas outside the main Exclusion Zone where radiation isn't now a significant health risk."

Anything else?

While some may scoff at the prospect of ingesting a product made from Chernobyl, fears over the area's contamination have subsided in recent months.

Tourism at the site is booming, thanks to the success of HBO's wildly successful recent miniseries, "Chernobyl" which detailed the disaster from 30 years ago.

CBS News reported that the rise in visitors has prompted Ukraine's president to make Chernobyl "and surrounding areas more tourist friendly" despite the fact that "hundreds of square miles surrounding the reactor remain off limits."

I didn't think they had nuke powered missiles or rockets. Why? Conventional can hit anywhere? Just more food for thought. One of many articles.

Missile Explosion Prompts Radiation Warnings in Russia

Was the explosion, which reportedly killed three people, a test of the Burevestnik nuclear-powered cruise missile gone awry?

An explosion at a Russian military base killed three personnel and caused a brief spike in radioactivity in a nearby Russian city. The Russian Defense Ministry has said that no dangerous substances were released into the atmosphere during the incident, but other government agencies reported that radiation readings briefly spiked before receding to normal levels.

The incident reportedly took place today near the village of Nenoksa, where a Russian Navy missile test range is located. Although the Russian government hasnt given time specifics, radiation levels in the area started to rise about 10 minutes before 12 p.m. local time. The location is also 29 miles west of Severodvinsk, a city of 185,000.

According to The Barents Observer, the explosion took place on a barge or ship. The Russian Ministry of Defense, quoted by Russian state media, stated: "As a result of the accident, six representatives of the Ministry of Defense and a developer enterprise were injured of varying severity. Two specialists died from the wounds received. All the victims were promptly taken to a medical facility, where they received the necessary medical care."

Most news reports state two dead and eight wounded from the incident, but The Independent Barents Observer says that three were killed and 15 woundedeight seriously.

The Ministry of Defense made clear that "there were no harmful emissions into the atmosphere, the radiation background is normal." Greenpeace, on the other hand, citing data from the governments own Emergencies Ministry, revealed that radiation levels in Severodvinsk briefly reached 20 times normal levels. Greenpeace called on the Russian government to explain the release.

The BBC, in its reporting of the incident, wrote, A woman in Severodvinsk named only Alina told Russian news site lenta.ru: 'I work in the hospital where they're bringing the injured. They advise everyone to close their windows and drink iodine, 44 drops per glass of water.'"

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) says potassium iodide is used to prevent the buildup of the radioactive isotope Iodine-131 in the thyroid gland, which could lead to thyroid cancer. Iodine-131, the CDC explains, is produced commercially for medical and industrial uses through nuclear fission. It also is a byproduct of nuclear fission processes in nuclear reactors and weapons testing.

An area off the coast of Russia in the White Sea was reportedly closed for a month, but a source told the BBC the closure had been planned in advance. An official at the port of Arkhangelsk, however, was quoted by Reuters as saying that the closure was a direct result of the incident. The area is large at 250 square kilometers, or 96 miles.

Its unclear what caused the explosion and subsequent radiation spike. Missile explosions generally dont cause a noticeable radiation release, and they are very rarely tested while armed with thermonuclear warheads. The only reason to load a test weapon with a thermonuclear warhead is if the test is to include a nuclear explosion, which is currently banned by the Limited Test Ban treaty.

The detail about the missile reportedly being tested from a ship or barge is an odd one. If it was on a ship, it would have caused significant damage to the ship (or submarine), and that in turn would have triggered an emergency effort to save the ship and crew. A barge, parked in the White Sea with a limited crew on hand to operate the test, seems more likely.

Russia launches Iskander M missile in military exercise
A Iskander-M cruise missile moments before exploding on target at Kaputsin Yar, Russia.

One possibility: This was a test of the new Burevestnik nuclear-powered cruise missile gone awry.

The last known test of the missile was in February. Russia has tested the missile at least five times, with most tests lasting only moments before failing. The Independent Barents Observer reports that the fire was caused by a missile jet engine, which means the weapon undergoing a test was a cruise missile.

Buresvestnik, although nuclear powered, is believed to use a turbojet engine at launch before switching over to nuclear propulsion. An accident involving the new nuclear powered cruise missile dovetails with stated facts about the incident. Then again, the missile has already been tested at Kaputsin Yar and Pan'kovo in the far north, and it's unclear why Russia would want to test it from a third site.

Whatever happened in Russia, the data revealed by Greenpeace says the radiation release is over and local radioactivity has returned to normal levels. "Twenty times normal levels" may sound alarming, but consider that normal background radiation is a tiny, nearly insignificant amount. And although the radiation should be expected to drift a considerable distance, its not bad enough to be a worldwide cause for alarm.

Check-out this link to follow-up on the Russians newly devised nuke-powered rocket system, that uses a nuke-reactor to super-heat the air of the missiles engine, to keep it floating around the globe for a long time...

That's right, a nuke missile that orbits our world indefinitely...

(Why are we not making treaties against this stuff, instead of encouraging their development Mr.Trumpdt ?)....

Yo,

Here's a very interesting article that has "fresh news" from 1957, about what's been titled as "The worlds 3rd worst Nuclear disaster", when things went-to-pot in motherland Russia, then called the USSR. ( I always thought Sellafield in the UK held 3rd place, ( then known as Windscale ), but there you go )...

Important to understand here how Government cover stuff up, & get away with it, whilst "testing" folks down-stream with Nuclear waste, namely Plutonium...( Sick )...

Read on !

Very true Shawnee !

I remember reading in "enenews", September 2015 ( Check it out if you like ), where the Freedom of Information act revealed that the US-of-A's DoE detonated a nuclear device around 100-miles away from California, to see what happened...

Of course a great many folks suffered cancer & many other ailments, that are felt still do to this day...

*It was also thought that to take advantage of this cancer-rise, blaming leaded gasoline for the cancer increase allowed a major boost to the mining industry, namely for the worlds most precious & expensive mineral, Platinum. So of course, world-wide, every car is now fitted with a catalytic-convertor, who's key component is Platinum...The ironic thing here too, is that more toxic pollution is created making unleaded-gasoline, & itself is far more toxic than regular leaded gasoline. And catalytic-convertors don't start working until they reach around 400-deg-C, which takes longer than you may think to reach in temperature...

Hey SELLC,

I'm sorry-to-say that the good folks of Detroit & surrounding areas that take their water supply from the Detroit river, are likely to have received yet another free gift from the Nuke industry...A shoreline collapse into the river of contaminated / radioactive land from a waste site from the Manhattan Project occurred at the end of November, but news of the event wasn't released until a week later...

Here's the link...And you may want to rally Mr.Trumpdt to have radiation detectors at your water-plants-intakes...

That is not enough iodine. The 2 people that determined how much one needs determined it back around 1950's and it's not the era but just not enough. If you are serious about iodine you need a suppliment of it, mix with water. I did it years back but didn't keep up with it. Notice Japanese don't have cancer problems like US? They get lots of iodine, seaweed etc.

Hey folks,

I was so happy to receive this article today, simply because it's the first time in over a year that I've heard anything from Mr.Busby !!!

So that's the good news !

Anyhow, I was nearly going to post this in the Fukushima thread, but its scope about the cancer rates on-board folks that serve on US-of-A nuclear vessels speaks for itself, & why I'll drop it right here...No doubt a similar fate exists onboard all who sail on such vessels...

And to think that the ***ts at my Maritime College were encouraging its use ! They didn't like it when I told them to shove-it way-back-when lol !

( The short version is that after all this time since 2011, the US-of-A courts have decided that the hearings are to be held in Japan, for all those that remain suffering from the fall-out suffered onboard the USS Ronald Reagan )

I read about that a few days back and I was going to post it up, but then the next related article was about how they were opening up some new form of nuclear power plants that were twice the size and generated four times the juice! Kind of took away the thunder so I never posted the link.

But I should mention that that super-reactor (wish I still had the link) allegedly takes YEARS to heat up! Can you imagine that! So hot in fact they claim it's like having a captive sun on the planet!

R1. Thanks for the post SELLC, it is appreciated ! But we must remember here that all splitting atoms does is generate heat, & we use this heat to boil water into steam, & the steam then turns a turbine-wheel with a generator hanging-off the end-of-it. Nothing new here I'm sorry, except a new element to split ( likely from nuke-waste ), & a massive new generator, to power-the-load. But none-of-this has been necessary since the 1920's...

R2. Having a captive sun on the planet is exactly why we don't want or need it here :) !!!

Rastus, your whole thinking here may be off! These new reactors go all the way back to Reagan and Gorbachev! 30 YEARS! These are HIGHLY COMPLEX reactors! If you ask me Rastus these complex designs are almost alien, even some of the new supercomputers are such that one has to wonder if its even humanly possible to create this technology, at least without AI and super computers! You might be shocked to realize that Aliens have been with us for a very-very long time and may have been showing us ways to produce power and some of the modern day technologies that we have today - some of the really high tech stuff probably isn't even released into the public! It's just insane that projects such as these massive Fusion Reactors have taken so long to design and put in place! I think it's safe to say they aren't going to be scrapping these plans. So all this talk you do regularly about Nukes and UFO's may have something in common.

I found that article,

https://www.yahoo.com/news/30-years-later-big-boy-160400033.html

The International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor, or ITER, is a 30-year-old project started by President Ronald Reagan and Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev. With tens of billions of dollars on the line, this experimental tokamak fusion reactora nuclear fusion plasma reactor where extremely hot, charged plasma spins and generates virtually limitless energyis one of a handful of extremely costly miniature suns around the world.

These reactors take years to get up to temperatures hot enough to induce nuclear fusion. Will they ever get there? In July 2019, Scientific American covered the unveiling of the base of the reactor setup: The section recently installedthe cryostat base and lower cylinderpaves the way for the installation of the tokamak, the technology design chosen to house the powerful magnetic field that will encase the ultra-hot plasma fusion core.Over time, ITER will install more and more parts, including some by a specially installed heavy roadway that stretches about 65 miles from the Mediterranean Sea to ITERs campus in Saint-Paul-lès-Durance in Provence, France. ITER says its still on track to switch on the tokamak in 2025, meaning all the parts will be installed and fully integrated and the reactor will begin to accumulate temperature at that time.

It will then take another 10 years, barring incident, for the reactor to reach fusion. Ultimately, ITERs adherents say it will take in exterior energy and produce 10 times as much energy output. Until now, the closest fusion has come is about two-thirds of input energy and with much lower overall quantities at play.

To get the atoms whipping around the inner chamber of the Russian-nesting-doll-like machine, a magnet will drive 15 million amperes of electricity through them, Wired reports. They'll also be zapped by 24 microwave generators and three semitruck-sized particle guns, until they reach 270 million degrees F and, avec optimisme, crash into each other, releasing heaps of energy. At the heart of the ITER tokamak is deuterium and tritium, positively charged ions that must be heated to unfathomably extreme temperatures and smashed together. Fusion is the process by which light nuclei such as deuterium (2H) and tritium (3H) come together to make helium (4He) and a neutron, physicist and tokamak consultant Colin Windsor explains. This reaction, at sun-hot temperatures, is what 25,000 tons of ITER equipment will foster.

Even in that explainer, Windsor says solar and wind have both fallen in cost much faster than he and other fusion experts predicted. The argument that these methods only work on intermittent days is more and more flabby as energy storage technology springs up around the world. Fusion energy via tokamak, too, is fragile and can be intermittent.

Projects in many countries are in different stages of development, and while ITER is wildly ambitious and has the support of dozens of countries, its also a Spruce Goose of sorts in the energy world. Where does ITER fit into a landscape of smaller tokamaks around the world? We have 15 years to find out.

I was sure to document the article for your records here because from what I read above, Rastus, that is some SUPER HIGH TECH SHIT!

You should click on that link Rastus! There is no stopping it!

Hey SELLC,

Oh for sure, nukes & UFO's have been associated with one-another for decades...In fact, it was because of dropping the fist atom-bomb in Los Alamos in 1945, that there's been a significant appearance of them ever since, & most often around nuke facilities...In fact, they ( UFO's) shut-down about 30-missile-silo's in your mid-east in the 1960's...

The thing is, they're not so-much worried about us blowing ourselves up, though they don't want us too. Our interstellar visitors are actually more concerned with us going into outer space with our nukes, as then we become a threat to other civilizations across the universe.

You must come to terms with the fact that your country was hijacked in 1913 by the European Central Banks, & then your government was divided into two fractions after the Roswell incident in 1947.

You guys mastered "gravity control" in the mid 1950's, & could take ET home back then if you wanted to.

Your space program was also falsified, since there was already an existing one, ran in secret by the corporate world.

You need to check-out & watch the video's I've posted up in the UFO thread, to get up-to-speed here, as it explains where all your tax-dollars go within the multi-trillion-dollar, Unacknowledged Special Access Programs.

No nukes is good nukes.

You also don't need nukes or any fuel for propulsion, to transport through space. It's too slow. You need to go beyond the speed-of-light, & that means massive voltages, unique frequencies, & teleportation in real-time. That's what the ET's use, & what your black USAP's have been developing...

Anyhow, regarding Nukes, check this link out, as it really is see-to-believe stuff, & confirms that the truth is stranger than fiction...In short, your ABC's World Nuclear News has a headline reading that radiation should be used to disinfect the kevlar suits being used for protection from COVID-19...

So here we have workers in Japan being deprived of any protection from the radiation at the nuke-plant, with rain-coats being used... And the suits that they used to use, that are now being supplied to the medical industry for COVID-19 protection, are being told by the IAEA that radiation will disinfect the suits ( but not the masks, as they'll melt )...

The world is crazy. Read on...

Hey folks,

With all the lies & censorship now being applied across-the-board, it's getting harder & harder to find-out "whats' really going on", & how bad our environment really is becoming...So, I've done a little digging around with regards to dosimeters, their prices, availability, reviews, & specifications...

It's time for me to do my own monitoring !

Oddly enough, the dosimeter I was going to grab was made in the US-of-A, the MKS-05-Terra, but you could only grab it through the head-office in the Ukraine !!! (I shyte-thee-not )!!! And I was warned against buying it on e-bay, through fear of it being a fake LOL !!! So it got pretty confusing there for a while, but folks in Japan also use this baby, so it's the yard-stick no-nonsense model imo.

Anyhow, I soon learned that you don't have to find a lot of $$$ to get something that works well, you just have to decide on what you want/need it to do...

At the end of the day, & after much research, the QC GMC 500+ offered the best bang-for-my-dollars. The next newer model, the QC GMC 600 was not available, & the QC GMC 600+ was pretty much over double the price of the out-going 500+. These babies & the older models have all seen service at Chernobyl, as website pictures demonstrate.

Put simply, the QC GMC 500+ has 2 x Mueller Tubes, & around 10-times the detection level & sensitivity of the others, with the 2nd tube starting operation once the primary tube is saturated.

The QC GMC 600+ offers alpha, betta, gamma & x-ray detection. Alpha detection is the bonus here when compared with the others, & offers the newest Mueller tube design, & operating soft-ware, though each & every model can happily co-exist with one-another, especially when data uploading is shared across the globe with other folks.

Anyhow, check-out the attachments, & search-out one for yourself !

Also, for folks in the US-of-A, International Medcom's Red Alert 100X offers probably the best all-round detection device, with its use in the Medical profession being its confidence in purchase, but at over $750:00+ delivered with postage fees to me here in Oz, it seemed a little overkill for my needs, though it does detect Alpha emissions. Poor exchange rate killed this bird-off for me.

SELLC may like Soeks Ecovisor, as it's claimed to be able to test "everything" including food, water, & nonionizing radiation such as wi-fi signals, but to me, it's more of a luxury home item, where the others are industry-standard-tools.

I hope this helps y'all out ! :)

I'd be very interested in hearing about your experiences with whatever model you choose!

You are absolutely right that I have been wanting to monitor WiFi levels as well as RF noise in my computer work area!

I been watching a lot of 5G WiFi videos with some of these meters in action and it's rather spooky when they get real close to them 5G boxes!

If you do buy one you'll have to buy something from near the Fukushima area and then test the item and it's packaging once it arrives and compare that with items delivered from other areas. It would also be cool to test any beach one might be considering enjoying for the day as well since I have always wondered what some of them beaches in California are registering now days - especially since they had that event where the shore was glowing recently! Did you see that Rastus? About the glowing photo-plankton that made some beach areas in California glow a green like color in the dark?

 Yo,

R1. No worries SELLC. I opted for the GQ GMC 500+, at $280:00 AUD delivered to my door. I thought it was the regular 500, model at that price ( still a very good item ), but it's the 500+, with an extra Mueller-tube :). And QC electronics is a US-of-A company, based in Massachusetts.

R2. As mentioned, the Soek Ecoviser is likely the one you'd be looking for, as it measures everything, as it has a pointed probe that you can shove into food or water etc etc. It also looks like a modern cell-phone, with what appears to be an LED screen. It's claimed to last up to 12-years. Its price was good too. Check-out the manual !

R3. Yes indeed. I'll consider a GQ wi-fi meter down the road myself. I'm funny in that I don't really like a one-does-all item. That's why I still don't have an i-phone lol ! I still use a regular lap-top, &  regular cell-phone for all my needs :).

R4. I actually have bought a few items from Japan last year, namely some Nintendo "Game & Watch" hand-held games, & also a Nintendo DS. ( I needed a dependable alarm clock, that doesn't rely on a phone-company-transmission. My 2x cell-phones have let me down a few times ). I've been holding off buying dosimeter simply because I've been awaiting the exchange rate to improve, so I could get a really good one, but I feel that I've scored a good one at a great price anyhow, with the 500+, as they're a 2018 design. Anyhow, the games will get measured for sure, & so will the new cars driving around on our streets. I won't have the dosimeter on all-the-time, but maybe once-a-week let it run a 24-hr-cycle, & see what average increase happens over a year. I haven't been able to source any credible back-ground information readings for a few years now, & back then they were a full 11% above pre-Fukushima levels.

R5. Yes, I did see an article with pictures last week with the dolphins off SoCal, & they were sure glowing pretty intensely ! That's a healthy sign, as apparently during the day-time, the water is covered in a red-plume of the plankton. Anyhow, Dana Durnham is on a mission into the inner country of Canada, to check on wild-life species health & extinction levels etc etc, with all this to say that for sure the dolphins were feeding & following the plankton, but who knows if they'll get ill & die from eating the stuff & other food sources as they move up the coast, where contamination was pretty bad. No doubt that the initial hit of radiation was devastating to everything in contact with it, but perhaps now, the concentration levels have moderated with the circulation of ocean currents over time. But we still have that 10,000+-US-of-A gallons of toxic radioactive ground-water entering the Pacific every day, & no-doubt, TEPCO will be / is secretly trickling-out the 100,000,000 tonnes of stored on-site contaminated water too.

Good luck to those dolphins !

Yo,

No doubt there's lot's of stuff going on at the moment distracting us away from the important things like nukes, & the imminent death that they cause...But I have to say that I'm shocked with Mr.Trumpdt once again, as the silly SOB want's to start nuclear weapons testing once again...

It seems that I ordered my GQ CRM-500+ at the right time...I even got a message from e-bay stating that it's finally made it through US-of-A customs, & is on its way down south at last...Maybe in a few more weeks I'll have it...

Please Mr.Trumpdt, don't start dropping bombs until I have my little unit to report back here with :(...

Here's the link to read about Mr.Trumpdt's latest disaster-bound-plan...

(Nb. Since Mr.Trumpdt escaped impeachement, what processes are needed to have him "Certified Mentally Unfit to hold office" ???...)......

Read on...
