Looks like the Mayor of Minneapolis is using crooked liberal tactics in an effort to keep Trump from having his rally there!
Trying to charge the campaign over a half million dollars for security and telling police officers they can not wear their uniforms to the event! Yet when Obama was President none of these things were an issue and he was not charged unjustified cost for security!
Plus the police were ORDERED to stand behind Obama - in uniform!

I'd prefer if uniformed police officers didn't endorse any candidate publicly, and just did their job as non partisan public servants. If they want to go in street clothes on their own time, I'm fine with that.
I hold the same standard for the endorsement of Democratic politicians. The job of the police is to protect and serve, not endorse and pander.

As I said, that is wrong too. Unless the police are specifically on duty there providing additional protection for the president, which should be billed to the Secret Service, then there shouldn't be any uniformed off duty officers there. It's like how you aren't allowed to wear political clothing or hold political signs near a poling place.
