Was recently in some new towns last week on a little road tour in my Corvette from Detroit to Nashville - to Hilton Head Island S.C. and back to Detroit.
I must admit that while driving in areas I am not familiar with, it's always like a warm blanket when a local in a Corvette waves to you!
In keeping this tradition I have ALWAYS made it a point to wave to other Corvette owners, regardless of year or condition... Simply as a show of support and acknowledgment of good taste!
It feels good! Takes very little effort and is something special that needs to be adhered to whenever safety permits!
So if you pass me in a Corvette, while I am driving mine - expect to get a wave! Even lifting a few fingers on the DL is acceptable because only we need know! WE GOT GOOD TASTE!
In my experiences it's about a 7 out of 10 chance a Corvette owner will either wave - or wave back. That is good, but we can do better!
