Less emissions world-wide no doubt has helped clean the air a little ( or a lot rather ), but mother-nature is a female, & so typically, we'll never be able to figure her out, or her mood-swings.

Civilizations in the long distant past, (such as the Lemurian's & Atlantean's for example) have all been swept-away into myth over-night.

Read that a pretty big hurricane of the sorts was about to hit Australia a few days back! Did this system hit anywhere near you Rastus? I'd say it's pretty late in the season for you guys to be getting such weather? No?

Hey SELLC,

The storm was unusual more so because of how it managed to travel so far south, & effect Perth ( Southern Western Australia ) than being this time of year. It would be the same as say Frisco or even Seattle ( Washington State ) in the US-of-A being affected by a hurricane.

That said, Australia is pretty flat along the West, so if a storm decides to travel along the coast to Perth, rather than dissipate inland like normal, it's bad luck ! Perth is actually quite warm all year imo, with say the winter mean average daytime temperature hovering around the 50-degree range in your scale, quite often settling at an average summer temperature of 100-degrees in your scale.

We had a few damns bust open and flood a central town but that was way North West of Fermi, which I think they are in the process of closing anyway.

Many people saying the floods could have been prevented if they were allowed to reinforce the damns like they wanted, however the Democrat AG prevented such action because of some endangered muscles... or so they say. I believe it because that area of the state is traditionally a Red voting district and there is a lot of politically motivated bias and vindictiveness that occurs in this state!

Today was a beautiful day, took the Vette out for a little top down cruise... it was rather nice but shocked at how dead everything was on such a major holiday weekend! I can't speak with 100% certainty about weather the COVID-19 lockdown is causing worse or better weather but I can assure you the COVID-19 lockdowns are KILLING business owners and regular people alike as we all just sit at home because outside of fast food and grocery stores just about everything else is closed! It's not even a matter of IF you want to go out, the question becomes WHERE would you go? Everything shut down, even the courts, for civil matters anyway. Even the Secretary of State is closed (Like the DMV or Department of Motor Vehicles) so you can't even plate a vehicle or boat right now! You couldn't even register to vote or renew your license in some instances! Even the Dentist offices have all been closed and are still closed! It really is quite insane! Sometimes I have to wait for WEEKS to get parts, I have had a standing order for some Ford parts since last month with the local dealer!

To make things worse, our drunk with power Democrat - black leather jacket wearing Governor extended the stay at home order for the 5th time until June 12th! One has to wonder if it will be extended once again as it seems to get extended every two weeks! It's really insanity over here right now Rastus! I'd have to imagine they will try to extend the lock down until the end of July because that is when the Federal $600 per week add on for unemployment ends - unless you get called back to work. As you know automobile repair has been deemed essential so I have been open this entire time, very slow for almost two months but it has really picked up with people having thought the lockdown was going to end on the 25th of May. Good thing too as it has helped to keep my mind off all this craziness.

Looking at a couple month window in time only shows changes in weather, not overall climate change. For climate change to be observed you must look at a longer period of time.

Essentially, the dams would have failed with or without the pandemic. And in the case of the dams, it is more a case of under-funding the maintenance of infrastructure in your state. But it's not a problem specific to Michigan. Minnesota had a very large bridge collapse a few years back for the same reason.

No, I don't think the muscles were worth it. But I'm not so sure it's the AG's fault. I understand the entirety of Michigan's dam inspection team is 2 people and a total budget of $400k. I'd say it's a legislative and resource allocation problem more than anything else, just like the bridge deal here was.

Dude, our AG is way out of line the way she has spoken of the President! Her homosexuality aside, the way she sucked face with her S.O. when she won, and her mouth running about the President... I am not shocked, let me just tell you that!

I should also mention, PowerStroker, that the Secretary of State here that does our vehicle and voter registrations, along with ID's and all that stuff is a real mess! Before Big Gretch and this AG took over you could make an appointment online and it would text you 15 minutes before your number called.. Big Gretch got rid of that system and now it's a standard five hour wait for just about anything you need to get done, unless you make an appointment which you must do almost a MONTH out! Does you no good when you buy a new car or boat and need it transferred that day! Right now the Secretary of State is closed, will stay that way until the 12th since Gretchen extended the stay at home order here for the 5th time! I got a feeling she is going to try and extend it out all the way until the end of July.

People are really getting fed up with this lockdown BS... Most people are just hanging on as nothing but fast food, gas stations, auto repairs and grocery stores are open! Even the Dentist offices are closed! This is a real fine mess we have here PowerStroker and I got a feeling that once everything does finally open up many places will have gone under and the whipsaw from the past three or four months will lash us like the inner bands of a CAT5 hurricane!

I think it's better but it's not just the lower emissions. Look in the sky, different than a year ago. Normal contrails, no chemtrails.

We have had the first normal spring in I can't remember when.

But I think that humans help to regulate and spread out the volatile elements that would otherwise see massive weather and or tragic events.

Yes, cloud seeding has been going on for quite some time now Shawnee, and I have no doubts there are probably many other things they put in the air depending on what is going on at any given moment.

I don't discount the chemtrails and I have seen it myself. Condensation would dissipate much quicker.

I have seen chemtrails horizon to horizon and they don't dissipate like a contrail. Many don't get it. Contrails are jet engine exhaust and come out the engine. Chemtrails are not from out the engine, they are sprayed thru nozzles. Have you noticed the skys are free of chemtrails now? Trump vowed to stop it and he did. It's called "operation indigo skyfold" and dems don'e believe it exist. Go outside, find a chemtrail. Can't. Yes, cloud seeding but what else? Look at the pics, see clouds cept a few wisps?
