People thinking of buying a Tesla in rat dense areas should know that they use soy based platics on their electric cables and brake hoses!

Some are saying the Soy ingredent are actually attracting mice with one NY woman claiming a rat fell out of her glove box after her AC stopped working.

Interestingly, lots of plastics are made with soy, including early Ford steering wheels. 

But the question remains, do rodents prefer soy based plastics to knaw on? Somone should do a study!

I know Mercedes has problems with their bi-degrading wire harnesses on the W140 chassis, and I wonder if they were soy based plastic or rubber too?

One thing is for sure, rodents nesting in a vehicle will chew anything around them to nest in... but if rodents are actually eating the insulation because it taste like soy, then perhaps its not a good idea to use that.
