Yo,

So it seems that Mr.Trumpdt will be reemed a new Stoma & will be installed at the tax-payers expense, if the courts have their way...

The last 5-or-so years have been quite a mess, that's for sure, but was this mess created by Mr.Trumpdt alone ???...Was he the only one responsible for the mess created ?...

Some folks suggest that since the presidency has been a song-&-dance, since the later Eisenhower days, that surely Mr.Trumpdt deserves a full pardon for activities taken whilst POTUS, in the interests of National Security...

How do you feel ?...

Vote !!!!!!!

But seriously... The SCOTUS should have handled this issue back before January 6th... PERIOD.

Perhaps they felt conflicted with the fresh conservative majority, but whatever their reasons it cost the country. Since the SCOTUS "let it ride" then the issue will not be re-visited.

What happens between now and 2024 is anyones guess... Trump wanted to make a big deal out of COVID and so that will be his legacy.

I'm sure big Pharma will keep him out of jail... I think it's pretty well known that the POTUS ain't going down, ex or current...

Trump loves people swinging off his nuts... if he felt so cheated he should have lead the march on January 6th like George Fucking Washington and let it all hang out... but he didn't.

I think he was expecting his freshly appointed Supreme Court to bail him out, along with his VP... but I think everyone knew after COVID.

Still think shutting down the country to "flatten the curve" is what cost Trump the Presidency... Germaphobe!

But he talks a good game!

The whole presidency ( of Mr.Trumpdt's term ) was so wishy-washy / sketchy / scattered with constant corruption claims & misleading the whole time, I would nearly bet however a full-pardon for sure is granted, by those that actually to pull-the-strings-of-power in the US-of-A via Sleepy-Joe... - ( If found guilty of course )...

Scheeze...Look at what these folks have done for Hunter ;) !

I honestly feel that Trump got into politics with the best intentions... but lost his way.

Much like a lot of everything he has ever done in his life.

His arrogance at times was a bit much, it only got worse after he won the election... I didn't watch any of the trials...

Well, If on Thursday you guys watched any primetime news network (except Fox) you'd see Congress is making a case that the attack on the Capitol was part of Trump's 7 part conspiracy to subvert democracy itself by coup to remain in power after losing an election. He even formed his own private militia of Oath Keepers and Proud Boys, not unlike Hitler's SS.

To be pardoned, one must first be convicted of a crime, which Trump has not, and worthy of a pardon - which Trump will never be.

That's a harsh indictment PowerStroker!

Not even an itty-bitty bit of love for 'ole Trump?

I'm not making the indictment, Congress is.

But no, there is no love for Trump here. As a student of history, I know what this country would become had his plan succeeded. It wouldn't be good for any of us.

I can't deny... the company has seen a LOT of oppertunity under Biden!

I just paid $104.01 to fill up the tank on the Corvette, with Premium 93 @ $5.96 a gallon... now I won't lie, that sucks! But IIRC it was anywhere around $60 to $80 to fill depending on what part of the country I was in.

That sure as hell beats the $1,200 PER MONTH I was paying in just INTEREST under Trump when he was trying to drown me.

Just say'n...

Lots of people like to blame Biden for gas prices, but it's actually Putin to blame for this. Sure, if Trump were reelected, Putin would have just rolled through Ukraine without the US getting involved. And Trump certainly wouldn't impose any sanctions on Russia for their bad behavior. This would have resulted in cheaper gas for you and me, but at what cost? America is the arsenal of democracy, and Ukraine is a democracy which was attacked by a fascist dictator. To say that we should not have gotten involved, is to also say the US shouldn't have gotten involved in WW2 when a different fascist dictator invaded another democracy. Luckily Trump wasn't the US president then, or we surely wouldn't have. Trump would have been Hitler's lap dog instead of Putin's.

Democracy can be expensive, but it's a lot cheaper than selling our souls. When we are at our best, we are the shining city on the hill. Our willingness to pay more at the pump in order to starve the war machine of a dictator, is us being at our best. It is after all, a far smaller sacrifice than the brave Ukrainian men and women are making. And so long as they are willing to fight Putin so we don't have to, I say lets keep arming them to the teeth, and paying more at the pump while we do.

I think that may be a big issue going into 2024...

Trump is so angry that it's going to be a hard sell for him to convince people that he will be doing the peoples work, rather than fulfilling his own personal vengeance.

To be honest, we all know what Trump stands for... Trump stands for TRUMP, PERIOD.

At least that is how I feel about it... opinions vary wildly.

My concern here isn't so much the price of gas at the pump... however I say that as someone who works from home and does not use but a tank of gas per month... probably less now that all my kids have graduated.

What concerns me is that Putin is war hardening his people, and who knows what country he will decide to invade next! Already hearing reports there is a build up of troops in the arctic. There is really only one country that Russia could be planning to invade by putting troops there! Unless he is trying to train the next wave of troops to continue "The Ukraine" take over during the winter months, while at the same time pissing off the USA.

Putin just isn't going to stop until his head is on the NATO wall with all his other dictator buddies. Putin thinks he is smarter than all the mass murders before him, Hitler, Stalin, Gaddafi, and Saddam... Guess he want's to fuck around and find out.

Gas was on the rise steadily, before the Putin thing, it's not all on Putin.

I'm not so sure Trump would have let Putin roll right thru. I think maybe it wouldn't have happened. Putin liked Trump, not many like Biden and even less respect him.

Don't count me in on "willingness to pay" higher gas prices. It's all bullshit. Now Biden is blaming refinery's  for the high prices, not even about Putin right now.

A lot of people feel the same as you Shawnee! A friend of mine who uses a big E350 Cube van for his construction and HVAC jobs is paying $200 per tank a week, if not more! Let me just say he is PISSED! And if you do the math for an entire year it becomes clear the real carnage has yet to come! The longer it stays high, the more people will lose. If ever there was a time to have too much work to do at home, this is the time! Driving is expensive! Add in the plates, insurance, registration and many people still have a car payments in addition to that! And now they have higher gas costs!

I'll agree that Putin seemed to like Trump more, but it wasn't in a respect sort of way... more like a booze buddy that you went to strip clubs with. I doubt Putin would have put off invading Ukraine just because Trump was his buddy... and we can not forget that Trump was on the virge of abandoning NATO which Putin really liked!

Gas goes up and it goes down... clearly there is a method to this madness... the last time gas went up they were claiming that the world was running out of gas... now it's because emissions and electric cars... someone is making bank!

But Trump did get NATO members to pay up more, so that was a feather in his hat...

Although it wasn't just gas that was creeping up all along, it was everything else! Trump also put tariffs on China that were working to those ends, and probably, in addition to rising fuel cost; have created what I consider to be "Hyper-Inflation"... I know Nuffan will try and say otherwise but I wrote about this awhile back when we all first started noticing it... but now it's clear, everything has gone up at least double - and REAL FAST too!

Do the words " Never let a good crisis go to waste " strike a chord ?...

Apparently Russian oil exports only totaled around 03% on the world markets...And yet we see 3-400% increase at the pump-price...

Hmmm...
