Force Majeure

Just love how this term is making a comeback!

Elon Musk and Vladimir Putins state-run gas giant both cited force majeure this week. Heres what that means

https://www.yahoo.com/finance/news/elon-musk-vladimir-putin-state-185428982.html

They are saying the term was made popular by a 2007 book... LOL, but we all know the term was made popular by Nick Nolte in the movie Cape Fear (1991) when he was on the lam running from Robet De Niro.

But I can tell 'ole Vlad and Muskrat that Force Majeure has been running wild around these parts for the better part of two years! If it isn't help, it's lack of parts and if it's not lack of parts it's some crazy funding issue... Shit, I have had to burn wood the past two winters! Juggle crazy ass jobs with ups and downs, even had to deal with being banned on Twitter, you name it...

So to Vlad and Muskrat, from the bottom of our hearts

And accoding to Nick Nolte and Cape Fear, the term Force Majeure means "All bets are off"

And mine wouldn't for a week. 2015 Kubota L4701. Just sputtered out, been doing that since new occasionally but always restarted right up. Not this time. Fuel strainer? No. Filter? No. Fuel pump? No. Line from the tank to strainer was 5-6" too long, crammed into a piece of channel and kinked. It wore that plastic tubing over it protecting it from full kink mode, well it wore out. Sumbitch. Runs now.

I rented a Kubota mini-escavator once... think I even have a thread about it in the small engines forum...

It worked well and cost me more to wash it than re-fill it! I don't know if that would hold true in todays gas market, but I'd have rather had a CATAPILLAR! LOL

Just joking... it worked good and got the job done. I'd rent it again if I needed to do some digging! Just something about CAT and John Deere that pull at the old hear-strings... Tonka trucks and John Deere tractors as kids I suppose!

Not even sure if CAT makes mini-escavators... most of their stuff is for the big-big-big jobs.

Been seriously considering getting the woman a John Deere tractor for the lawn and such... just had to replace the lawn mower, got a Toro... hope it last a lot longer than the fancy Huskavarna lawn mower, although we do a lot of mowing... that is why I been keeping an eye on lawn tractors. Of course it's not 5 aceres like yours... What do you use for a tractor? The Kubota and a big attachment?

Most minis seem foreign made, Hitachi, Kub etc. They work. Oh yes, I have a 47.1hp diesel. It just sips fuel. Figured it out but wasn't much. 1.2 gal / hr I think it was.

I have a 54" deck Hustler Raptor, 23hp Kawi. And a 10.5hp Craftsman 38" deck. That does the perimeter trimming very well. Mowed again yesterday. 3.5 hrs. both tractors going. I mowed 3 times in 8 days. One of those times took 3 days. Thick, wet, tall grass! 5 gal gas for just under 2 mowings. Mid supper here grass gets VERY healthy. Thick, greasy, full of chlorophyll or something. Hustler was the first zero turn, very well built and solid. Was $4200 in 2014, minor maintenance.

Last place, people had Case, Fords, some Kubos, couple Deere. Where I am now, in about 10 miles around me, all green deeres! One other Kubo and a Ford. I'm in cattle, corn cty, surrounded. Fambly I got the house from have 800 ac and 500 beefers. Other one around me as many. Couple big dairy farms too. Then feed corn far as you can see.

Yeah, in the middle of many good size ones. Corn, cows and a few houses, not many houses.

He's the Black Kieser (sp?) in that Netflix film Polar... it's actually a really good movie!

This winter when I renew my Netflix membership I'll be sure to watch it again at some point, it was that good!

You really felt Rogue One was better than the originals? I might have to watch it now!

Without doubt, imo, it's the best in the "Star Wars" saga by a long shot...More reality, less fantasy...

( Think of it as Episode 3.5 )...

Force Majeur = greater force, e.g. war, disaster (natural or man-made), or act of God.

Geopolitically, means a reset. A dissolution of debt, pensions, or any other obligations deemed necessary to move forward. This could include legal codes as well.

IMO, dangerous ground that could lead to unrest never-before-seen. Something the WEF desperately wants.

There is a quickening happening. Take heed and watch closely. All society is a tacit agreement of civility. It only takes 15 minutes for that to descend into chaos.

Been there, seen it first hand, and its not pretty.

Yes, there's also foul-play & strange stuff happening via computers too, possibly AI filtering & then targeting folks who post "the truth" ...

And the ET's have been more active around here lately too, but in a good way, so maybe some folks are catching-on, & learning the truth ( & bullshyte ) ...

Once the dust settles, we'll be better off for sure !
