Yup... and it really sucks too... she's not really asking either! Sounds more like a threat when she talks about it...
Here is the thing... she's pretty much a network rat, which means she spends the days watching them liberal networks that flood her with these political ads, especially around this time of year.
It's so bad that I didn't even vote in the primary because she was that bent out of shape about it!
Apparently the liberal networks have her convinced that Tudor Dixon is the devil! She has strong feelings that Tudor Dixon will ban early-term abortion for rape victims, cases of incest or even women who might have just made a mistake and want to terminate. She still feels late term abortion is bad, and does not agree with it. I feel the same as she does, but I don't feel as strongly as her... obviously because I am not a woman.
So where does this leave me? In the past she claims to have voted the same as me on certian issues... if this is true is anyones guess because we vote in person, so she could vote however she wanted... she knows this because she questions my ability to follow her instruction... I'm not a huge fan of Gretchen, and I told her pulling the lever for Gretchen would feel like a form of Stockholm Syndrome for me! Escpecailly since our kid moved to Texas to be with friends who had to transfer down there to avoid VAX mandates required by Michigan State University. I'm also not happy about how much longer and harder we had it here in Michigan during COVID. I think Gretchen is a nice lady and all, and I honestly feel she may have just had Michiganders best interest at heart... but she's still a politician!
I think perhaps Brandee does not like Tudor Dixons big tits, or the look of her... at least the photos they have shown her on Network TV... Then I just asked her, why? Why did it matter because she can't even have kids anymore! Her answer was rather unsettling, she said that if I ever knock up some hoe she's getting an abortion! LOL... I looked at her funny and said "really?"... she went on to say that in the case of rape or incest she feels women should have the choice and that was the main thing.
So now I am wondering... if a woman tells me she wants the choice, does that mean I have to put aside party and support her by crossing party lines (RINO)?
Have no idea what I'm going to do at this point... all I know is this is the first election that wasn't a Presidential election where it feels like this giant pressure cooker... it's getting closer and closer! I suppose I could just say I have a tooth ache like she does every time the Woodward cruise comes around the past two years, but somehow it just wouldn't feel right not voting! I still feel badly I skipped the primaries!

I have to ask if her name is John McCain every time she says that, and she still don't get it!

I don't know how true that is, but it doesn't sound like her normal MO for talking points... So I sit here with my dick in my hand wondering... then I think of John McCain saying "This one" while pointing to Obama and have myself a good laugh.

You should vote your conscience. But if Brandee feels this strongly about the recent attack against reproductive rights, you probably won't like whatever retaliation she has in mind if you don't take one for the team here.
Vote for someone that isn't an Elephant or Donkey, & wants to do something useful not only for your country, but the world too...
In a country with around 300,000,000 people, surely there must be more than 2 x nuclear biased idiots to vote for ???...

I don't think it will matter who I vote for... Gretchen and the Democrats are going to carry Michigan regardless how I vote.

I fear that I see political parties like sports teams... and I think a lot of other people do too.
Takes a lot to make someone cross the isle... and I don't think voting is private either! I think they know how you vote! We might never be able to see how our ballots were actually cast, but they do!
The only way a 3rd party would have a chance in the US, is if one of the 2 major parties splintered off in to 2 separate entities. Unless and until that happens, a 3rd party vote is entirely wasted.

I think this election is going to be one of the hardest I have ever had to vote in and it's not even a Presidential election.
I feel like the Democrats don't even wan't my vote, and any effort to change sides would just result in them punishing me harder! That's one thing about the bird... it has two wings and each one is relying on the other to fly.
Oh, we could sure use your vote. Just understand that we are on the other side of some of the cultural issues that really animate you. That said, as a working class guy, Democratic policies are far more likely to improve your standard of living.
Trust me... every time I get the mail it's clear to me Democrats want my vote... mailbox is stuffed like a Thanksgiving turkey with poltical advertisements daily.
These cultural issues are not animation... I try to mind my own business however sometimes these cultural issues go too far in their efforts! It's one thing to work on acceptance of other peoples views and cultures, it's another thing to push them on people, especially kids!
I understand Democratic policies have allowed the company to refinance under Republican programs... It really has me torn because on the front end it has felt like a much needed "restructuring" however on the back end (next 30 years) the country is going to be counting on the business and I to keep things paid and incoming churning, long after COVID. This is not a problem, as I was always just looking for that "better" rate all along, as you well know. I always thought I would do that with a home re-fiance, but that never happened. Instead the Government was more interested in the business. I say this because they (Federal Government) already bought my personal mortgage from my original lender... my original lender sold it to them before the ink was even dry on the paperwork.
More or less I hate feeling bought! It's killing me! There is great conflict inside me right now PowerStroker!
As I sit here and ponder, I'm forced to ask myself a few questions... 1st, have things gotten better under Biden and the Democrats since Trump? I'd have to say YES, yes they have... For example, COVID and most all mandates have been removed, under new Democrat rules my company got it's first ever real loan, and it would seem that banks are lending! I've also noticed my credit score has improved drastically as a result too!
That's a lot to get done in just two years, especially given the wrecked state of things due to Trumps handling of COVID when Biden took office.
Fuck guys... Could this be the first time ever I pull the blue handle? I have always said I will vote based on real feel "results"... some of the things Democrats stand for are not my thing, that does not mean I'm intolerant... rather, I'm not going to support it... but I have to ask, are them things more important than my bottom line? Yes and no... since the kids moved out I'm starting to realize that I can really only control what I do... and I was really sour on Trump and Republicans there towards the end...

I don't think there is anything I can do to change the wifes mind either... she's got Gretchen fever! It's not good home politics if we're not working together I suppose... and I don't feel a woman should have to have my kid just because I blew a load in her.
Guess I am gonna have to download the ballot again and see what we're working with... the last time I did awhile back I was more or less looking at the non-partisan portion of the ballot... we have abortion and voter ID on the ballot... I support a womans right to choose, but I don't feel people should be able to vote without valid ID... I just have to ask myself, "How did I get here?"

Welp... today was the first time in awhile that I did not cast a "Straight Republican" ballot...
In other words, to quote Desi: "I voted with my dick"
While 80% of my vote was cast for Republicans, I felt obligated to take a stand for womans rights in the proposal section, and to not cancel out my wifes vote for Gretchen (even though I am not a big Gretchen fan)...
It would have been very easy for me to have voted as a "hard-core" Republican, and for a moment of time I pondered just filling in that bubble in the partisan section that said "Straight Republican"... Since I'm not a woman I don't think the issue is as important to men, but clearly it was important to the woman, who very rarely get's worked up for an election where she's got a horse in the game... For this election, Gretchen was her horse and so was the proposal regarding womens rights... so I sucked it up and voted with my dick...
I found it amazing how only two of the non-partisan Judge candidates even had challengers... All the rest ran unopposed! In these cases I just give them the vote in case I ever have to go in front of them I can say "I voted for you"... haven't found a Judge yet who will respond "But I ran unopposed"... LOL
I'd like to be able to say it was something Republicans did or didn't do... but that wasn't the case... In this case I took a stand for my Woman and her fellow Woman's rights... which I find odd considering my woman can't have any more kids... but whatever! If it's important to her it's important to me... she would know better being a woman when it comes to these issues.
So there we have it... I have never been ashamed of my vote, as some people don't like to share such information... for me, as someone who does not foresee a career in politics - I don't mind sharing.
Regardless of anything said above, I hope everyone gets out there and Votes today!
I did however vote to ensure that the proposal to allow people to vote without ID was not passed... if I'm in the majority on that, only time will tell.
Looking forward to the count tonight... it's not as cool as a Presidential Election, and by tomorrow the media will start reporting on other things... at least until two weeks from now when the Presidenital campaign season gets under way.

I was even considering just up and taking off somewhere for a few days to avoid having to vote! LOL, not even kidding! Thankfully I have too much going on here and was able to keep my jets cooled.
Then this afternoon I did the usuall ballot check, conferred with the woman who was still on the Gretchen train with no signs of backing off, and figured if I was voting for womens rights, I might as well back up the woman.
I'm really anxious to see how the vote comes in, and not just for Michigan! Although I'd expect most of the East coast to be counted by the time I go to bed anyway.
What are your predictions? Do you think the Dems will hold or increase their majorities? Or do you see the classic and usual changing of the guards and the Republicans taking the House and or the Senate?
I really have no clue, that is why I'm anxious to see the numbers! Let's hope it's not like the PowerBall last night! That was really odd!

I'm not quiet Rastus, I'm just disgusted and have been quite a while. Both sides suck. I do vote the candidate, if they are worth a fuk. Once in my life I pulled a straight Rep lever. In local I'm better at "vote the candidate", probably because we know these people and what they are about. Jailer, Constable, Judges etc I'm not partisan. Go up the ladder further I rather not see dems, their agenda does not fit me. We gotta vote, people who don't shouldn't complain but so many do.
