Then I guess age isn't an issue and we can go ahead and vote for the old guy without fear. If anything happens they can just find another actor right?

Sure, there are 4 of them right now. One cracks me up. But I don't vote for dead men, you can.

Yo,

Genocide-Joe is no Mr.-nice-guy...

www.counterpunch.org/2024/02/20/feckless-and-complicit-biden-and-the-gaza-genocide/

The short-version is this..

qt."Biden recently termed Israeli military operations over the top. Like his frequent pleas that Israel obey international humanitarian law, the Presidents characterization was too weak and too late. Moreover, his actions have spoken louder than his words. If he were serious about civilian casualties, why would he want to send Israel more billions for weapons to be used against Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank? Why would he oppose a ceasefire?

Both Netanyahu and Biden have deplored the ICJ decision of January 26 that the State of Israel cease forthwith prohibited acts under the 1948 Genocide Convention. When asked if the U.S. stands by its allegation that South Africas genocide case against Israel is meritless, counterproductive and completely without any basis of fact whatsoever.White House spokesperson John Kirby replied Yes. Biden has again refused to consider UN ceasefire resolutions, including the latest one proposed by Algeria.

Bidens multiple calls for a two-state solution and his occasional expressions of concern for Gazan casualties collide with his oft-repeated Israel has the right to defend itself. Even to this day, Biden refuses to call for ceasefire or set any conditions on Americas arms aid. Nor has he taken issue with Israels siege policy, which uses starvation as a war tactic.

The UN Security Council on May 24, 2018, unanimously adopted Resolution 2417, which strongly condemned the starving of civilians and the restriction of humanitarian aid. A Human Rights Watch report last December 18 (Israel: Starvation Used as a Weapon of War in Gaza,) found as follows:

1) The Israeli Government is using starvation of civilians as a method of warfare in the Gaza Strip, which is a war crime.

2) Israeli officials have made public statements expressing their aim to deprive civilians of food, water, and fuelstatements reflected in Israeli forces military operations.

3) The Israeli government should not attack objects necessary for the survival of the civilian population, [should] lift its blockade of the Gaza Strip, and [should]restore electricity and water.

Bidens words and actions have enabled and assisted Prime Minister Netanyahu in his genocidal war that now includes famine; they have increased the risk of a regional war; and they have diminished respect for international institutions and the rule of law. By focusing on hostage recovery and day-after governance, he has neglected the urgent question of where the desperate Gazans can go now to find water, food and safety from IDF attacks.

A feckless U.S. foreign policy is helping Israel put Gazans on the road to famine. It has made Biden and all of America complicit in Israels genocide.

Yo,

Here's more disgraceful acts from Genocide-Joe...( Cut & paste from my mailbox )...

qt."The United Nations International Court of Justice (ICJ) recently ruled that Israels government is plausibly committing genocide against Palestinians in Gaza.

The Court ordered Israels government to act immediately to prevent genocide, including ensuring the provision of urgently needed basic services and humanitarian assistance and stopping acts of genocide -- such as killing or causing serious bodily or mental harm to Palestinians.

Instead of upholding international law, the Israeli government continues to use starvation as a weapon of war, while dropping U.S.-made bombs on a trapped population with nowhere left to flee.

As a member of the UN and a signer of the Genocide Convention, the U.S. is legally obligated to prevent genocide.

However, in the month since the ICJ ruling, President Biden again bypassed Congress to send hundreds of millions of dollars worth of weapons to Israels military. And this week, Bidens representative was again the sole veto in the UN Security Council, blocking a measure for an immediate ceasefire.

Please sign if you agree: The Biden administration must affirm the legitimacy of the International Court of Justices ruling to stop acts of genocide, comply with federal and international law by suspending military assistance to the Israeli government, and facilitate an immediate ceasefire.
ADD YOUR NAME

We need an immediate ceasefire to protect Palestinians, Israelis, and people in the wider region who are now under threat as the U.S. and Israeli militaries bomb nearby countries.

U.S funding, weapons, and diplomatic support continue to fuel devastating violence against civilians. Across Turtle Island, people want this violence to end -- and dont want our tax dollars funding it.

Polls show 65% of U.S. residents (and 77% of Democrats) support a ceasefire. A recent poll also found that 50% of people who voted for President Biden in 2020 believe that the Israeli government is committing genocide against Palestinian civilians.

A U.S. doctor came back from volunteering in Gaza and said: I have worked in other war zones. But what I witnessed... was not war -- it was annihilation.

More than 600,000 children are now trapped and under fire in Rafah, where 1.5 million Palestinians have been displaced as they continually sought refuge south. More than 12,000 children have been killed already, and many are now also dying from dehydration and lack of food.

As we watch these human rights violations happen in real-time, the Biden administration has been pressing Congress to send at least $14 billion more to Israels military -- without any conditions on upholding international law or protecting human rights.

Please add your name now to tell President Biden: Uphold human rights law, dont violate it. Comply with federal and international law by suspending military assistance to the Israeli government and facilitating an immediate ceasefire.

Hawwih (thank you) for taking action in defense of all life".

Here's a cut & paste, since the short article won't link-up sorry, but it's from CNBC...

The U.S. national debt is rising by $1 trillion about every 100 days

Published Fri, Mar 1 202411:47 AM ESTUpdated Fri, Mar 1 20245:28 PM EST

Michelle Fox

Key Points

*The nations debt now stands at nearly $34.4 trillion, as of Wednesday.
*Since June, the last two $1 trillion jumps occurred in about 100 days.

The debt load of the U.S. is growing at a quicker clip in recent months, increasing about $1 trillion nearly every 100 days.

The nations debt permanently crossed over to $34 trillion on Jan. 4, after briefly crossing the mark on Dec. 29, according to data from the U.S. Department of the Treasury. It reached $33 trillion on Sept. 15, 2023, and $32 trillion on June 15, 2023, hitting this accelerated pace. Before that, the $1 trillion move higher from $31 trillion took about eight months.

U.S. debt, which is the amount of money the federal government borrows to cover operating expenses, now stands at nearly $34.4 billion, as of Wednesday. Bank of America investment strategist Michael Hartnett believes the 100-day pattern will remain intact with the move from $34 trillion to $35 trillion.

Little wonder debt debasement trades closing in on all-time highs, i.e. gold $2077/oz, bitcoin $67734, he wrote in a note Thursday.

Spot gold is currently hovering around $2,084 an ounce, while bitcoin

was recently around $61,443. The cryptocurrency in February closed out its best month since 2020, briefly trading above $64,000 on Wednesday before pulling back. Inflows into crypto funds are on course for a blowout year, with an annualized inflow of $44.7 billion so far this year, Hartnett noted.

Moodys Investors Service lowered its ratings outlook on the U.S. government to negative from stable in November due to the rising risks of the countrys fiscal strength.

In the context of higher interest rates, without effective fiscal policy measures to reduce government spending or increase revenues, the agency said. Moodys expects that the US fiscal deficits will remain very large, significantly weakening debt affordability.

Yo,

So recently in here, it was a point-of-discussion, about how Genocide-Joe was making the country better, & its people better-off, buy discussion of financial numbers regarding the economy etc etc etc, bollox, bollox, bollox...And through this discussion, there were quams when I suggested that Mr.Trumpdt & the before & after Presidency numbers weren't as bad as Genocide-Joe's...

So, now we will do some simple mathematics, using the numbers presented in an above post, to reveal how every US-of-A citizen is held in perpetual debt that grows & grows, via the Central Banks...

So, let the question be this...

Q. How much debt is each & every individual US-of-A citizen in, as of January 2024 ???

Ans. On the basis that the numbers / estimates are correct enough, & that I've used enough zero's in by problem, here's the deal...

*Thirty-four-Trillion-dollars debt, divided by, Three-hundred-&-twenty-million-people....

34,000,000,000,000 / 320,000,000 = 106,250..

Every US-of-A citizen is in debt to the Central Banking Cartel, aka the federal Reserve, $106,250:00 USD...And counting, & with interest...

Let's go Brandon !

The woman swears Biden was either wearing one of them Mission Impossible masks last night, or that it was someone else all together (also wearing a mask)...

I myself would be leaning towards the former because there were a few pretty big gaffes in his SOTU speech last night -- one of them so uncomforable I couldn't even watch! I just got up and went into the kitchen and got something to eat... by the time I got back everyone had picked up their jaws and he was back to acting like nothing happened. Classic Biden if you ask me.

Yo,

On the basis that each & every US-of-A citizen is in debt to the tune of around $106,000:00 USD & counting, where does the US-of-A gov't find the money to fund & aparently support other countries in Foreign Aid, when it is in so-much-debt already ???

Let's go Brandon !!!

Read on, this cut & paste from 1440 this morning...

Foreign Aid Approved

The Senate last night voted 79 to 18 to pass a long-awaited package that combines $95B of foreign aid to Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan with other national security measures, including a possible TikTok ban. The Senate's approval of the package comes after the House passed it as four separate bills Saturday. President Joe Biden is expected to sign the package into legislation.

The foreign assistance consists of $61B for Ukraine, $26B for Israel (including humanitarian aid for civilians in Gaza), and $8B for Taiwan. Other national security measures include requiring China-based ByteDance to sell TikTok's US operations within nine months or else face a national ban on the video-sharing app (see overview). TikTok, which has roughly 170 million monthly active users in the US, has reportedly been under investigation by the Federal Trade Commission over its data and security practices that allegedly violate federal law.

I fully expect to pay more than $106,000 in taxes to the federal government during my lifetime, so it all works out.

To not help provide funding to democracies around the world who are under siege from authoritarian attack would actually end up costing us more in the long run. WW2 for example was awfully expensive for us. Just imagine how much we could have saved had we provided Europe the funding and weapons needed to keep Hitler at bay early on.

R1. Ok.

R2. But the attacks were pre-planned decades ago, as indicated in the "1991 US-of-A National Defence Strategy"...And many other people have warned about this for decades, such as people within Dr.Greer's Disclosure Movement. Carol Rosin indicated these events in 1977, when she worked as a speaker for Werner Von Braun ( Spell check ). I'll repost the video interview...(Not to mention former POTUS Eisenhower).

R3. The Rockefeller's sold Mr.Hitler Germany's oil...It was transported using submarines via the Canary Islands...Quite a few deceptive & wealthy American Industrialists sold-out on the American people, & made shyte-loads of money...And the same is exactly what's happening right now...You're paying for a needless set-of-wars that were prearranged decades ago, so that some dodgy industrialists gain more wealth & power. You must watch the John Warner IV video's in his thread in here. His family ( his mothers side ) funded Hitler via their bank from the US-of-A. He openly says so, & discusses matters.

R4. Exactly...But the Military Industrial Complex, & more-so the Bankers who fund both parties engaged in war, are greedy mofo's, & "our" lives are worth a few dollars to them through warfare. These seriously ill people are in-fact going down as we speak.

Yo,

Are you concerned about your privacy ??? Genocide-Joe has just made life easier for the next POTUS to spy on y'all...

Read on, cut & paste from my mailbox yo, from "Duck Duck Go"...

The Next US President Will Have Troubling New Surveillance Powers [wired.com]

"On Saturday, US president Joe Biden signed a controversial bill extending the life of a warrantless US surveillance program for two years, bringing an end to a months-long fight in Congress over an authority that US intelligence agencies acknowledge has been widely abused in the past." Dell Cameron says that "[t]he ability of the United States to intercept and store Americans text messages, calls, and emails in pursuit of foreign intelligence was not only extended but enhanced over the weekend in ways likely to remain enigmatic to the public for years to come."

And this too...

Your Android Phone Could Have Stalkerware Here's How to Remove It [techcrunch.com]

"Consumer-grade spyware apps that covertly and continually monitor your private messages, photos, phone calls and real-time location are a growing problem for Android users. Zack Whittaker's guide "can help you identify and remove common surveillance apps from your Android phone, including TheTruthSpy, KidsGuard and other apps."

Agreed. You only need to search through your phones folks, for "Security Certificates" to find out who's doing what, & saving, then selling-off your data...

The Internet ( Internal Network ) is quite an amazing scam...We have people paying-through-the-ass for wi-fi, & wi-fi devices, that use programs full-of-bugs & viruses + spyware, only to have these companies then sell-off your data...And lets not forget that 5G is a military weapon used in the Gulf War not so long ago...

It's clear that the real issue lay in the Corporations that have well & truly out-powered the ( apparently ) elected officials...And this what true fascism is all about...

The dust will settle, & all will be well.

I use Apple, so at least my information is only sold to affluent and weathly people/companies! LOL... but seriously, we are well past the days of using the electric wires in the house to transmit the voice vibrations picked up in the filament of lightbulbs to tap rooms.

This is just a continuation of the patriot act, no? Just re-named so it sounds less familar?

Also, Rastus -- it's looking like while owning a small business allows for tax deductions at tax time, Uncle Sam is going to get his $106,000 worth of flesh out of me thru the company upon re-payment of that Small Business loan over the next 26 years... You know that $10,500 that was just forgiven on the early Paycheck Protection Plan under Trump and Biden? Well, my 1st payment comes due for the business EIDL this July, and wouldn't you know the differed interest for the differed payments thus far is about $11,000... So yeah, Rastus -- the Government will prolly get well over $106,000 out of me in my lifetime too! In fact, the more I make -- the more they will get. Even if I win the lotto for $800 million, the Government will get $400 million right off the top.

People seem to forget that mortgages back in the 1970's were something on the order of 14-18% interest! And back in the 40's -- 50's and 60's the top income tax bracket was over 90%! I'm nowhere near the top income brackets, but WOW! That would almost ensure that US businesses are re-investing every single bit of that money rather than squirreling it away... wouldn't you think?

R1. Quantum computing combined with AI is the real issue with the who, what & where of the surveillance worlds. You don't want them making mistakes lol !

R2. Don't ask me, I'm an Aussie...Our laws are a little different, though arranged by the same criminal organization known as politics / government.

R3. If your business is holding-its-own, repay the loan-in-full...Then you won't have to find an extra 11-K. ( 11-K in interest is over $200:00 each & every week btw ).

R4. Interest rates fluctuate all the time, but as PowerStroker revealed, it was Reagan policy & Star-Wars etc that meant no-more holiday-house in the bush for y'all, & women had to find work.

I don't put much stock in what PowerStroker says at the moment... my family did not have a holiday house in the bush prior to Ronald Reagan either.

That said, $200 X 52 weeks = $10,400... maybe you missed the part about the business loan being for 30 years?

I think what bothers me the most however is when I see our Government just GIVING AWAY Billions to other countries, and illegal immigrants -- while I have to pay mine back! I sure hope they know what they are doing, because from where I'm sitting -- it just feels really unfair.

LOL !

R1. We're all being very general Stellar, but apart from the genocidal Vietnam War, the 1960's & 70's were better than now...Though if you're an arms dealer / manufacturer, cough, cough...Hmmm...( The Uncle Sam Corporation )...

R2. Now you're nit-picking, I did say "over" $200:00 USD per week...But think about that for a moment, at this current rate, after 30-years, you'd have paid back a full $330,000:00 USD...The loan got you through a rough patch perhaps, but get rid of your debt, & you'll likely save over $150,000:00 USD, & retire at current calculations...And you're now entering your 50's, & man, your body starts to slow-down & tighten-up...You'll be having a session-on-the-can, after you've had your shower yo !

R3. This is where you're in the wrong trade Stellar. If you made weapons for a living, you'd be laughing all the way to the bank...And that's the problem...People making big-bux on others suffering, that was created by the banks so they & the arms dealers make $$$. We're all living with an invisible shot-gun aimed at our heads.

As it stands, Rastus... I don't make weapons -- nor do I have any gold/coal or mineral mines. I also don't have any large freight shipping tankers by land, sea or air.

I'm happy the business is more established now, "in the books" so to speak... as a small business it's an honor to have the Government trust you enough to loan money, so I'm not at all upset because it did take us thru a really crazy time (COVID)... it's just that during re-payment I'll probably be more hawkish on politics. I agree that in going into my 50's I'm not quite the sping chicken that I was, but I am working much smarter now days -- overhead is still low and for the most part my monthly bills will dip below $1,800 come 24 months from now when everything else is settled. My home will be paid off a decade before the business, and like you said -- a few good years could see everything paid off in short order! Except maybe the house as I like ease of making a small payment every month for taxes and insurance as opposed to big chucks two times a year. My credit score is near 840 currently, much better than before if you remember! The business being able to step up and cover itself after decades of investment was really nice!

Inflation has been a bitch here in the USA... it's not just been talk! My labor rate has doubled, so that should tell you inflation has been very real! I don't see it going back either, unless there is some sort of major recession. 2008 saw serious corrections to real estate, more or less like a whip-saw because it happened so fast... that is sort of how inflation has taken hold -- however housing values shot back up and even higher than ever before. I think these inflated prices are here to stay... the days of a .49 cent taco are over... best you can do now days is a Costco hotdog deal, but even that cost an annual membership fee above $100! LOL

Yo,

Everyone is generally struggling, especially with inflation, but that's all-to-do with the idiotic WEF, & the New World Order trying to spread-out, as foretold via Agenda-30, the Jag-offs now banned video, & many other folks including myself...

I've found that though fuel "is" expensive, if you can find time to shop-around, you'll still manage to come home with some change in the wallet, rather than finding more cash to shop with...Simply walk-out, & buy your shyte somewhere else, even on-line if you have to...In-fact, check on-line for trending prices on stuff before you even turn-the-key of your car to go shopping would be my advice. If you can wait for stuff, e-bay or where-ever is the go imo.

Nothing ever comes down in price, & if it does, it's always 30% or more up, & maybe 20% down after a while...A little like gasoline prices like to dance up & down for no reason...

That said, at least PowerStroker should still be able to enjoy his truly awesome Flagship 460 V-8 for a while yet...What a beast...I hope he gets it back soon, & up & running to enjoy his summer break with...Probably the most awesome motor ever, to come out of Henry's stable...

And hopefully that will lift his spirits, after having do defend such diabolical leadership from the current POTUS, if you even want to call it that...A really sad state of affairs at the White House...

Yo,

I love this article just in...It will even get PowerStroker out of working on that sublime 460 V-8 of his that he's hopefully reassembling...

Anyhow, this article just-about sums-up Genocide-Joe's attitude, ignorance, & current state of affairs pretty-well, whilst hopefully wiping-away the bullshyte he paints oh-so-well...

With a little luck the US-of-A will be free from such treachery, or should I say, the US-of-I ???...

May 7, 2024
Genocide Joe
by Paul Street

Has Lien Joe Biden ever done a special nationally televised presidential address on the fascist Christian white nationalist menace stalking the land?

Did he do one to denounce and counter the forced motherhood Dobbs v Jackson decision?!

Did he go on television to talk to the nation about its insane mass shooting and violence epidemics?

How about one on the climate catastrophe (just the biggest issue of our or any time), which has gotten worse under his administration (during which the US has set new records for the burning of fossil fuels)?

How about one on the growing risk of nuclear war, which he has significantly escalated with his relentless provocation of Russia and China? Hello?

Of course not. Nope.

And yet this very morning the sorry-ass arch-imperialist warmonger Genocide Joe Biden did a nationally televised address in which he falsely painted the wonderful wave of American campus protests against US-backed genocide in Gaza as a violent, antisemitic, and chaos-causing threat to Jewish and other students, to the educational process, and to the rule of law.

What a lying sack of shit this longtime blood-soaked imperialist is.

*Threatening people, intimidating people, instilling fear in people is not peaceful protest, Biden said. What a disingenuous asshole! The anti-genocide protesters are doing no such thing. The attacks, violence, and intimidation are coming from Zionist thugs (who went after anti-genocide protesters with bear spray and baseball bats at UCLA last night), campus police, and militarized city, county, and state police.

* People have the right to get an education, the right to get a degree, the right to walk across the campus safely without fear of being attacked, Biden said. Wow. Talk about Orwellian reality-inversion! The anti-genocide protesters are not attacking or threatening to attack people trying to walk across campuses. The only people assaulting folks on campuses are Zionist thugs and the gendarmes being called in by university and college presidents and trustees. And nothing could be more educational than joining an on-campus teach-in or discussion of Israels long and ongoing US-sponsored war on the Palestinian people, 40,000 of whom have been murdered with largely US-/Biden-supplied arms over the last seven months.

* There should be no place on any campus for antisemitism or threats of violence against Jewish students. Good one, Genocide Joe! The anti-genocide protests are NOT antisemitic. They are SO NOT ANTISEMITIC that many of the leading campus activists are Jewish students who say things like One Holocaust does not justify another.

If Biden is so concerned about the rule of law, why is the open Hitler-channeling January 6 putschist Donald Take Down the Metal Detectors Trump not behind bars? Why did Joe and his pathetic attorney general Merrick Garland wait so absurdly long to prosecute this open Hitlerian threat to previously normative bourgeois democracy, civility, and rule of law?

And now Biden, who says that the US would have to invent the [occupation and apartheid] state of Israel if didnt already exist [to serve US imperial strategic interests], is showing that he values backing the murder of Palestinian women and children more than he values keeping Donald Poisoning Our Blood Trump from having a second stint in the worlds most dangerous office. His sick support of Israels war crimes will cost him dearly with much of his partys base next fall.

The rule of law? Is that what the Judeo-fascist state of Israel upholds when it buries innocent Palestinian children in rubble, murders aid workers, and bombs hospitals in Gaza all this and more terrible to contemplate with US funding and arms and the political and diplomatic backing of the Biden White House?

Hello?

We are not an authoritarian nation where we silence people or squash dissent, Genocide Joe said. The American people are heard. Thats yet more bullshit from Lien Biden. The USA has a long and ongoing history precisely of silencing people and squashing dissent a history that is on cold display on numerous US campuses right now.

The American people are heard? By policymakers and a ruling class that behaves in direct violation of majority US opinion on one issue after another after another after another (theres a huge empirical literature on this) , including (by the way) the current US-Israel war on Gaza: most Americans want an immediate and permanent cease fire.

Biden ended his address by telling a reporter that the student protests would have no impact on his policy in Israel and Palestine.

The protests are heard, but their basic human call for a ceasefire is rejected despite the fact that it mirrors majority US and world opinion.

Excuse me if I dont bow down and kiss Bidens ass for saying hes not ready to call out the National Guard to squash opposition to the US-Israeli Crucifixion of Gaza! He is channeling the same neo-McCarthyite false accusations that the Republi-fascists are making against the wonderful and courageous student protesters.

F this guy.

Watch Lien Bidens address here if you can stomach it.

And how would Trump be different on this issue. Didn't Trump say Israel should be allowed to "finish the job" in Gaza, meaning exterminate all Palestinians there?

At least Biden is trying for a ceasefire and suspending offensive weapons shipments to Israel, the same would not be true of Trump.

R1. We will never know...But one can clearly recall all the NAZI associations aimed at Mr.Trumpdt during his admin, so perhaps the weapons would have gone to Palestine instead ?...But seriously, with this present issue, Israel was building infrastructure on Palestinian land which is illegal...

And don't forget, as we learned from the Iraq war, Depleted Uranium & other toxic substances has been illegally deployed, meaning these peoples lives & future generations are extinct anyhow...The current circumstance with DU's further use only perhaps speeds-up this extermination / genocidal process more quickly.

R2. On the basis of the known facts in R1, it's quite possible Mr.Trumpdt did...Perhaps Stormy Daniels has some pillow-talk on this matter that will send Mr.Trumpdt into the lower-grades of TV & media ratings.

R3. It sounds like they made enough money already, & the primary-deal / goal was successfully achieved. Don't forget that your largest Military base in the world is in the Middle East...Just a phone-call away !

1. It's none of our business.

2. The U.N. could / should have been perhaps leading the way to a solution.

3. It's obvious that Israel is at fault here.

4. It's very true that Depleted Uranium use via other activity in the area has caused an extinction  event.

5. On the basis that Genocide-Joe was "playing-the-game" as directed by Corporations / Military Industrial Complex / Illuminati, Mr.Trumpdt would have been obliged to do the same.

6. These "Illuminati" are quite prepared to remove people from office, eg, JFK, Mr.Nixon & say Jimmy Carter. And don't forget these mofo's even underpinned 5-star-General & POTUS Eisenhower...

There always existed a delicate balancing-act politically in the Middle East, that essentially concerns oil interests...Israel is more a manipulated measure, since it only existed after WW-II, & is the manufactured home-country of the people that control all the money & wealth in the world.

Bollox to both imo...Bring-out the free-energy, & every-country in the world should have a freeze on their international trade dollar value, & a renegotiation & re-evaluation of dollar value should be implemented, whilst maintaining independence from New World Order schemes / agendas, namely via the WEF, the Trilateral Commision, & Vanguard, Black Rock & State Street etc etc.

On the basis that "we" still want a monetary system to live with, all that needs to be removed is the Centralized Banking System & it's operatives...Let them keep "their" money earned, but take the power of printing money in exchange for gov't bonds / bullshyte away from them, simple. It's not fair that the people of the world are beholden to perpetual debt to these mofo's. And the illogical & responsibility-free stock-market, needs to be held accountable for poor decision making schemes, that place profit before people. An oversight committee is needed to watch the Banks.

This is where the US-of-A can lead the way, since your constitution allows this to be so. Peace, freedom & prosperity for all, not a select few. Clearly at the moment the US-of-A could be called the United States of Israel, & *uck that idea, though it's a reality.

Most Arabic & Jewish people are good people. But it's also now very necessary to lose false religions, & realize that we all come from the one Creator being.

Once again, get out & do a CE-5, learn the truth, & get on with a better way of life. The time is now.

Yo,

I really didn't want to post this up, as I'd like everyone to appreciate the extraordinary effort PowerStroker put into that sublime 460 V-8 bullet-proof refresher, & yet this has to be worth a laugh or two...

For me, the choice in this election is clear: Donald Trumps campaign is all about him. Its not about America and not about you. His campaign is obsessed with the past, not the future. He is willing to sacrifice our democracy to put himself in power.

My campaign is different. My campaign is about all of us. Its about OUR future together. And preserving and strengthening OUR democracy. Thats why I am asking you to be a part of it today.

We're facing millions and millions of dollars of attack ads from MAGA extremists like Trump in states across the country and I need your help if were going to win this election.

If that's all you need to hear, use this link to donate today:

That is my word as a Biden.

$1 to help us fight back against the attack ads from MAGA extremists who will do everything they can to return to the White House.

$1 because democracy doesn't happen by accident. We have to defend it, fight for it, strengthen it, renew it.

$1 because we are still in a battle for the soul of America, and I can't do this without you.

As you read this, thousands of people are chipping in to our campaign because they share these same values. If you do too, I hope youll join them by donating today.

Yo,

So this one is a cut & paste for all-of-us, especially our host, read-on !... ( I had to post it somewhere, & Genocide-Joe is the apparent boss for the moment )...

Willfully Ignorant
by Scott Owen

Photograph by Nathaniel St. Clair

Speak to anyone, on the street, in your family, circle of friends, whatever, and you will find what you, yourself know to be true, we are living in a time that is perilous in at least, two existential ways, the possibility of climate collapse and the threat of world War.

There are of course other issues, social, economic and political but they can stand down for a moment as they are not, any of them, going to end human life on Earth yet we have world War and climate collapse looming directly in front of us. To say or believe that these two threats do not have the potential of devastation and ruin is to be willfully Ignorant.

To not understand that the US is the leading cause of these two great threats, when all the evidence is in plain sight for anyone who wishes to see this truth, is to be willfully ignorant. To not understand the power of propaganda and nationalistic bias, when we know that propaganda is a tool in constant motion and that nationalistic or tribal bias has been a factor in human thinking, processing and decision making since the beginning of historic time is to be willfully ignorant.

To not care about these conditions, or the survival of not only our generation but the generations yet to come is to be willfully Ignorant or worse. To think that your voice or energy or action does not have some merit, some effect or some influence on the movement of the whole, is to be willfully Ignorant when everything around us shows us that voices, energy, action, in fact every living thing influences and moves and effects all that is around it from the butterfly to the invention of nuclear bombs, is to be willfully Ignorant.

To think that by voting for one or the other of the two men who both actively promoted and elevated the threat of world war and this climate disaster when they both had the opportunity to do otherwise, is willfull ignorance. To think that democracy in America is alive and well, or even barely breathing, after several corrupted elections that brought questionable outcomes, when those alternative candidates who might address these problems are frozen out of places on the ballots, when debates and even interviews or conversations in main stream media platforms with alternative candidates is not allowed, to think that this is democracy, is to be willfully Ignorant.

To think that we can continue on this path without suffering catastrophic outcomes is to be willfully Ignorant. To not understand that there must be a great awakening built on trust and truth, that we must make peace with our neighbors at home and around the world if we wish anything but disaster upon ourselves is to be willfully Ignorant. To close our ears to those valuable things cincerning love, compassion, cooperation, justice and peace, those things that is that we have been taught down through the ages is to be willfully Ignorant

To believe that we each, in our own small or large ways, are not responsible for this time and for creating the better or worse path forward is to be willfully ignorant.

Regarding greenhouse gas production, yes, absolutely the US is one of the leading causes.

But I take issue with the idea that the US is a leading cause of the next world war. The United States didn't invade Ukraine, Putin did. The US is the arsenal of democracy, and if Putin starts a world war, you'd better believe that he will find himself on the receiving end of that ordinance, but it is not the fault of the United States if the war happens. Rather it is thanks to the United States that such a war will eventually end with democracy defeating tyranny. History has shown this repeatedly.

6.History has shown this repeatedly.

R1. Many countries are in this instance. The real problem is the illegal sequestering of technologies already developed that will fix all these issues, as most of the Sirius Disclosure Witnesses reveal, & this information is over 20-years old. So the issue is a Corporate one, & the corporations own the politicians etc etc.

R2. The US-of-A illegally placed missiles in the countries that surround the Ukraine, after signing treaties in the 1990's not to do so, NATO countries or otherwise. This war was planned, as indicated in the 1991 US-of-A Defence Strategy for the new century that I've posted a few times already. Typically New World Order shyte.

R3. Putin was forced to. See R2.

R4. The US-of-A is the worlds leader in modern weapons design & sales. See what's been used in the Middle east, & who's buying-it-all-up.

R5. That's the way the war profiteers work, & make money quickly, whilst deceiving the home population...Democracy works one-way-only in this world at the moment, & that's the US-of-A way of "Democratic Dictatorship". Check out results at the next Bilderberg meeting or sausage-festival at the up-coming Bohemian Grove...

R6. Yes indeed, see below...

Bohemian-Grove-3690574500.jpg

This is the Owl that the US-of-A leaders gather to worship at Bohemian Grove every year...Human sacrifices are said to be offered, in this ancient Babylonian ritual, asking for aid in warfare & tyranny...

It sure isn't Democracy.

But the world is changing, & the above will be a thing-of-the-past. The ET's are making themselves known, so that we learn that we are acting like dick-heads in the Universal scheme-of-things, & that it's time to get our act together, clean our planet up, & live in universal peace with one-another.

No more bullshyte !

June 3, 2024
No One Is Above the Law Really Mr. Biden?
by Ralph Nader

After the jury came in with its verdict that Donald Trump was guilty of a scheme and coverup to illegally influence the 2016 election, the Biden campaign issued a statement saying that the judgment demonstrated that no one is above the law, not even a former President. The overwhelming truth is that the majority of criminal laws are not a deterrent to the serious violations of law committed by sitting presidents of the United States.

This includes the incumbent Joe Biden, especially with regard to foreign and military decisions.

At least five long-standing federal laws explicitly condition the shipment of weapons to foreign countries. It is legally impermissible for the U.S. government to provide weapons to countries that violate human rights or use these weapons offensively. Day after day, Joe Biden has become a co-belligerent with Netanyahus genocidal war crimes and mass slaughter of innocent children, women and men. He has violated all five of these federal laws. (See my February 16, 2024 column: Biden & Blinken Rule of Illegal Power Over Rule of Law).

As the military, diplomatic and political enabler of the Israeli governments siege, with the unconditional shipment of weapons of mass destruction, along with civilian bombardment and starvation of defenseless Palestinians in Gaza, Biden is violating the UN Charter and other treaties that past Administrations have signed and that have been ratified by the U.S. Senate. Biden and other presidents act like they are above these and other laws.

One president after another has spent monies not appropriated by Congress, has defied subpoenas issued by Congress, launched wars undeclared by Congress, sent deadly weapons to nations that obstruct the delivery of U.S. humanitarian aid, and that do not protect civilian populations under foreign military rule. All violations of federal law.

Donald Trump in 2019 brazenly stated the lawlessness in one sentence: I have an Article II, where I have the right to do whatever I want as President. Trump got away with defying over 125 Congressional subpoenas, and with violating the criminal statute known as the Hatch Act by using the White House and other federal property to promote his re-election campaign. Then of course there was the January 6 insurrection, and the likely delay of his trial until after the election, if at all.

Joe Biden shuffles around unappropriated monies, continues to allow the violation of a 1992 federal law requiring the Pentagon to provide Congress with an audited military budget, and is constantly sending unlawful armed incursions into other weaker countries with impunity.

To make matters easier for presidents, there is the Justice Departments Office of Legal Counsel memo, from decades ago, that asserts there can be no criminal prosecution initiated against a sitting president.

As attorney Bruce Fein, who worked in the Office of Legal Counsel, has said repeatedly, this baseless opinion has no legal force and should be rescinded. (See, Letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland, May 31, 2024).

The courts have shielded presidents from accountability for perpetuated crimes committed either by the White House or by the presidents administration. For example, citizens have no standing to sue, to challenge in court a variety of Executive Branch abuses says the Supreme Court, not even members of Congress. As for presidential violations of the Constitution and federal laws by launching illegal wars or armed attacks abroad, the courts dismiss such cases, saying they raise political questions outside the jurisdiction of the courts.

Being allowed to get away with crimes is what constitutional law specialist Bruce Fein calls a way of life at the White House. Obstruction of justice or deliberate non-enforcement of seriously violated laws marks every presidency. Trump just boasted about what he inherited and intensified it.

Again, presidents operate in a system of considerable sovereign immunity, and law that either cant or has not breached this shielded impunity. They really are above the criminal laws. Only the very difficult political penalty of impeachment by the House of Representatives and conviction by two-thirds of the Senate can only evict them from office, after which they are free to enjoy life, and receive huge lecture fees and large book advances.

Ralph Nader is a consumer advocate, lawyer and author of Only the Super-Rich Can Save Us!

How a Hedge Fund Manager and Right-Wing Donor is Financing an Israeli Influence Op Masquerading as a Journalism Project
by Ken Silverstein

Vulture capitalist, right-wing financier and all-around shithead Paul Singer. Photo credit: Wikimedia Commons.

Paul Singer is a rapacious hedge fund manager and leading donor to the GOP and pro-Israel groups who retains a raft of corporate intelligence firms to slant the news in ways that favor his personal and political interests. In his spare time, he plots to topple governments and beggar citizens in the Third World to increase profit margins at Elliott Investment Management, the investment firm he founded and controls.

Charles Krauthammer, whos dead, worked for the Carter administration writing bland, dreary speeches for bland, dreary Vice President Walter Mondale before morphing into a right-wing pundit whose columns were as lifeless and dull as the tripe he penned for his former boss in the White House West Wing. A rabid Zionist like Singer, Krauthammer never met an Israeli war crime he couldnt turn into an op-ed that claimed it never happened, but if it had Palestinians were to blame.

What do you get when you combine Singer and Krauthammer? Voilà! The Krauthammer Fellowship, which awards 15 positions annually to aspiring writers, journalists, scholars, and policy analysts under the age of 35 and provides them with editorial mentorship and help placing their work. The fellowship is run by the New York-based Tikvah Fund, which runs media, educational, and policy programs in the US, Israel, and other countries as part of its broad goal of building a new generation of committed Zionists.

This years coterie includes Kassy Dillon, an opinion journalist and political commentator for the Daily Wire who previously was the US editor for Jewish News Syndicate and a video journalist for Fox News Digital; Adam Hoffman, a policy advisor on the DeSantis for President campaign whos written for the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and National Review; and Zineb Riboua, a research associate and program manager of the Hudson Institutes Center for Peace and Security in the Middle East, whose work has appeared Foreign Policy and Tablet. If the Israeli government directly handpicked the Krauthammer fellows, it couldnt have found a more reliable, devoted group of media cheerleaders which, of course, is the programs fundamental purpose.

The Krauthammer Fellowship was launched in 2019, a year after his death, and was established to honor his dedication to pursuing truth through honest, rigorous argument, in the words of the Tikvah Funds website, though that description bears absolutely no resemblance to its namesakes oeuvre. An egregious hack and one-man state-controlled news outlet, Krauthammer ceaselessly churned out bilge throughout his career, with a heavy focus on Americas special role in the world, its superficially similar but somehow entirely distinctive special place in the world, and the special responsibility the United States must carry on its shoulders as a result, all which he noted in a single sentence of a particularly turgid 2003 Washington Post op-ed.

Krauthammer was lauded by his peers as an expert on the Middle East, which he demonstrated in an article published shortly before the US invasion of Iraq the same year. The US had no choice but to take out Saddam Hussein, he argued, because with the nuclear weapons he was likely to have in his arsenal soon (though it turned out he never came close and wasnt even trying) along with the weapons of mass destruction he already has (which he didnt), the Iraqi leader posed a threat of mass death on a scale never before seen residing in the hands of an unstable madman, which was intolerableand must be preempted.

A close friend of Benjamin Netanyahu, who described their relationship as like brothers, Krauthammer wrote an essay in 2006 that summarized the entire history of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict as a dispute that began six decades earlier when the UN voted to create a Jewish state and a Palestinian state side by side, and while the Jews accepted the compromise, the Palestinians rejected it. Israel survived, which was its original sin and the reason why Palestinians had hated their good-hearted neighbors ever since.

All this makes the Tikvah Fund, which is staffed from top to bottom with Israeli diehards, a logical sponsor of the Krauthammer Fellowship. The organizations current board includes Elliott Abrams, who ranks near the top of any credible list of most nauseating US government officials of modern times along with the likes of Henry Kissinger and Samantha Power; and Terry Kassel, a major fundraiser for pro-Israel groups who the Jerusalem Post put on its list of Top 50 Most Influential Jews of 2022, and who holds a number of positions with Elliott Investment Management and is a director of the Singer Foundation as well.

The Tikvah Fund isnt shy about promoting its role managing the Krauthammer Fellowship, which is extensively discussed on the organizations website. The financing provided by Singer, on the other hand, is only obliquely noted on the Funds site, which says it runs the project in partnership with his foundation.

For its part, the Singer Foundation makes no mention at all of the Krauthammer Fellowship or the Tikvah Fund on its own website, which is incredibly stingy about providing details about any of its operations and activities. Not a single current or past grant recipient is identified, theres no information about how to apply, and indeed theres nothing on the website at all beyond a concise bio of Singer, which says the New York Times has called him one of the most revered hedge fund managers on Wall Street, and an equally sparse description of the Foundation that says its priorities include supporting free-market and pro-growth economic policies, the rule of law, intellectual diversity on campuses, US national security, individual freedom, the future of Israel and the Jewish people.

The discretion is probably due to Singers prominent, and not generally flattering, role in the public spotlight. A textbook vulture capitalist, hes perhaps best known for buying up the sovereign debt of countries teetering on the brink of bankruptcy for pennies on the dollar and using his political influence, money and army of lawyers to coerce their governments to pay it back for multiple times more. His most spectacular success came in Argentina, where his hedge funds activities over many years ultimately led to the collapse of the government and pushed vast numbers of people into poverty.

Between 2021 and 2022, Singer was the seventeenth largest political contributor in the US and the tenth biggest to the Republican Party, whose political committees and candidates received the entirety of the $22 million he shelled out during that period, according to OpenSecrets.com. Hes also a major donor and past or current board member at many right-wing think tanks and advocacy groups, including the Republican Jewish Coalition, the Claremont Institute, and the Manhattan Institute, which published a vicious anti-Muslim article the day after the Christchurch mass murderer killed more than 50 people at two mosques in 2019, saying he was expressing a legitimate concern, as reported here by the Public Accountability Initiative, better known as LittleSis.

Singer has also spent heavily to support conservative publications and reporters, with Commentary and the Washington Free Beacon being two of the outlets hes financed. Another of Singers pet causes is getting information into the press that makes him and his hedge fund look good, and to advance his political and financial interests. One of the ways hes accomplished the latter is by retaining the services of a variety of Washington private intelligence firms, including Fusion GPS Ill be writing more about some of the other companies whove worked for Singer a little bit down the road which he hired during the early days of the 2016 presidential campaign to compile dirt on Donald Trump in order to help Marco Rubio, his No. 1 choice,.

Singer has supplemented the cash he dispenses to conservative causes out of his own deep pockets with money from his foundation, which has assets just north of $1 billion, according to its latest nonprofit tax filing with the Internal Revenue Service. Neither the foundation nor the Tikvah Fund disclose how much Singer has dispensed to underwrite the Krauthammer Fellowship, which initially provided fellows with a full-time salary for two years but subsequently reduced the term to nine months and the compensation to a paltry $5,000.

Its still a pretty sweet gig that pays for fellows to attend retreats and conferences, among a range of sweeteners. The lucky few selected to be Krauthammer Fellows are hard to distinguish based on their bios at the Tikvah Funds website. Tuvia Gerin is an Israeli Army Reserve Captain and nonresident fellow at the Atlantic Council. Andrew Gabel is a past special advisor to Senator Tom Cotton and research analyst at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies. Daniel Samet is another ex-staffer for Cotton and Graduate Fellow at the Rumsfeld Foundation, which I could add a lot more about, but the name is really all you need to know.

Student radicals and outside agitators who had watched university administrators capitulate to mob tactics at Columbia, Yale, and other universities thought they could get away with the same antics in Texas, Samet, a past awardee, wrote in a story published in National Review two months ago thats listed on the Tikvah Funds website as an example of Krauthammer Fellows prime work. Boy were they wrong. It praised the University of Texas at Austin for approving cracking heads of pro-Hamas students protesting Israels military assault on Gaza, unlike the namby-pamby liberal administrators at Columbia, Yale, and other universities who chose to capitulate to mob tactics.

What pure evil looks like, the headline above another story featured by the Tikvah Fund that was co-authored by current fellow Kassy Dillon for Fox News quoted LeElle Slifer, a US citizen who had family members taken hostage by Hamas last October 7. Israel cares for innocent people, no matter whether they are Palestinian or Jewish, Slifer told Dillon. They dont want to hurt anyone.

Other articles written by past and present Krauthammer Fellows that the Tikvah Fund promotes include Harvard Shrugs at Jew Hatred by J.J. Kimche in the Wall Street Journal; Why and How to Revive American Anti-Communism by Gary Dreyer in Commentary; and In the City of Slaughter by Daniel Kane in Public Discourse, which needless to say wasnt a reference to any of the towns in Gaza the Israeli military has turned into graveyards of rubble, but to the collective plight of Israelis and Jews, like the author, who prior to last October 7 had been cocooned in the security blanket provided by the IDF and the Iron Dome and falsely imagined the Jewish people had entered a new chapter of their historysafely divorced from the agony and fear that dominated Jewish life for more than 2,000 years.

While these stories may not be remembered as historic works of journalism generations from now, thats not what Singers paying for. His goal is to gin up pro-Israel propaganda and apologias for war crimes committed by the Israel Defense Force, and in that regard hes probably getting a better return on investment than is indicated by the abysmal work product of Charles Krauthammers worthy successors.

"Biden Can Halt Wider War: Stop Sending Arms"...

Brian Garvey

Israels violence toward its neighbours, long out of control in its destruction of Gaza, now threatens to open new fronts, involve new nations, and even drag the United States into direct conflict. Promises of a ceasefire from the Biden Administration have come to nothing. Soft, behind the scenes diplomacy has failed to achieve peace.

In response, Ceasefire, the first demand of the peace movement since Israels destruction of Gaza began, has evolved. The actions of the Israeli military and government, the indiscriminate killing of women and children with US weapons, and appropriate frustration from activists in the street have created a new demand: an American arms embargo against Israel. For President Biden and his administration, it may be the only way out of a new quagmire in the Middle East.

But instead of de-escalating the war and reaching a lasting peace with the Palestinian people, Netanyahus Israeli government is expanding the war to new fronts. On September 23rd the Israeli Defence Force launched a barrage of attacks on Lebanon, killing over 600 people and wounding thousands.

It is now threatening a ground invasion. The previous week it simultaneously detonated electronic devices across Lebanon killing dozens and maiming thousands, including civilians and children. Commenting on that attack, former CIA Director and Secretary of Defence Leon Panetta said, I dont think theres any question that its a form of terrorism. These terror attacks in Lebanon were perpetrated just one day after a senior Biden advisor warned Netanyahu not to expand the war.

These are only the latest examples of a pattern of escalation by Israel. In January an Israeli strike killed a top Hezbollah commander in Beirut, Lebanon. In April Israel destroyed the Iranian embassy in Damascus, Syria. In late July they assassinated the political leader of Hamas, and lead negotiator in the ceasefire talks, in Tehran, while he was attending the inauguration of Irans new president. Israel has also escalated the scale of violence in the West Bank, killing over 500 civilians in the past year and launching a major military operation there in August.

Israeli officials have recently described their strategy of expanding the war to include Lebanon as de-escalation by escalation an oxymoron that flies in the face of the Biden Administrations long stated goal to prevent a wider, regional war.

This diplomatic failure on the part of President Biden and his foreign policy team threatens to drag the United States into another war in the Middle East. The Pentagon announced that the US is sending additional forces, adding to the 40,000 US servicemen and women already in the region. Another aircraft carrier, the USS Truman, and accompanying ships is now headed to the area to join the USS Abraham Lincoln, sending thousands more sailors to the region as well, at considerable expenseand risk.

More direct US involvement in Israels wars threatens not only those US personnel, but also the political situation at home. A major foreign policy failure so close to the November presidential election could have the effect of bolstering former President Donald Trumps bid to retake the White House. Trump has consistently criticized Biden for not supporting Israel enough, saying he should let them finish the job in Gaza. No friend to the Palestinians, Trump even used the term Palestinian as an insult and slur on the debate stage with Biden. Despite repeated signs that the Israeli PM is not a trustworthy partner for peace, President Biden has failed to use his leverage to rein him in. In a recent statement Netanyahu declared he will not entertain diplomatic ideas on Lebanon and will not engage in ceasefire talks for 45 days. The fact that the statement came 45 days before the US presidential election is a clear signal of Netanyahus political desires and motivations.

So what can Mr. Biden, his administration, and presidential hopeful VP Harris do? They can change course and finally put their foot down with Netanyahu and his right-wing government. The planned introduction of a Joint Resolution of Disapproval by Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont provides an opportunity to do so. This privileged resolution requires the US Senate to take a vote on the sale of $20 billion dollars of military equipment to Israel. More than $18 billion comes in the form of high tech F-15 fighter-bombers, but the sale also includes tank munitions, mortar shells, and precision bombs.

Biden could preempt the vote by announcing a pause to at least some weapons to Israel in light of the expanding war he has long opposed publicly. This move could also shield the Biden Administration from forthcoming reports from inspectors general investigating human rights violations committed by Israel using US weapons, a breach of US law.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has certainly given President Biden cause to stop sending US arms to his right wing government. The assault on the people of Gaza is nearing its one-year anniversary. Tens of thousands of Israelis are protesting their governments failure to get back hostages taken by Hamas during its attack on Israel on October 7th, 2023. Former Israeli Prime Ministers Barak and Olmert have criticized Netanyahus prosecution of the war and blamed him for strategic failures that led to October 7th. President Biden could embrace these more reasonable forces in Israel, framing his arms stoppage as a message to Netanyahu personally and an effort to retrieve the hostages.

Hes done it before. In one of President Bidens first foreign policy moves as president he announced a pause in offensive weapons to Saudi Arabia. The kingdom had been using such weapons to destroy its neighbor to the south, Yemen, since 2015. Bidens move helped pave the way for negotiations leading to a ceasefire in Yemen that has largely held since 2022. His example of presidential leadership, while not perfect, illustrates a clear roadmap.

Theres historical precedent too. Presidents Eisenhower, Reagan, and George H.W. Bush also leveraged US arms to Israel. Want a ceasefire to end or prevent humanitarian disaster? Stop providing the fire.

President Bidens strategy to achieve a ceasefire and end the destruction of Gaza has, so far, failed. His strategy to prevent a wider war in the Middle East is currently failing. Its time for a tougher, clearer tack. There is still time to prevent the complete destruction of Gaza and to avert another disastrous regional war. There is time for Biden to avoid a political blunder that will permanently damage his legacy as president. There is time to energize young voters and Arab-American and Muslim-American voters who fear a return of Trumpism but cant stomach a vote for an administration they see as complicit in genocide.

But there isnt much time.

The Not Another Bomb Campaign, launched by the Uncommitted movement that successfully mobilized over 700,000 voters to express their discontent with Mr. Bidens Gaza policy in the Democratic Primary, has the correct framing. It is crystal clear: In order to achieve a ceasefire in Gaza, the U.S. must immediately stop arming Israel.

Satisfying this new demand can also stop the expansion of violence into Lebanon, Syria, and Iran, preventing the loss of American lives. Heeding it might be the only way to stop the horror.

Yo,

This short report from 1440...

Biden Pardons Hunter

President Joe Biden pardoned his son, Hunter Biden, last night, weeks before the younger Biden was due to be sentenced for federal gun and tax evasion charges. The announcement marked a reversal for the president, who had previously vowed not to interfere on his sons behalf.

Hunter faced up to 25 years in prison after being convicted this year of lying on a 2018 gun application when he falsely asserted he was not addicted to illicit drugs. Hunter separately faced up to 17 years in prison and fines of up to $1.4M after pleading guilty to tax fraud charges related to counting strip club visits, rent, and childrens tuition as business expenses, among other items. He was due to be sentenced Dec. 12 and Dec. 16, respectively.

The president reportedly decided to pardon his son over the weekend, two months before President-elect Donald Trump is scheduled to take office.

***For sure this was expected I would suggest, but in Hunters defence...

1. It's possible that he was "clean" at the time of acquiring his fire-arms licence. Prove that he wasn't !

2. Any person who is not trying to save money in paying taxes is a fool.

Joe Biden: A Resumé of War Crimes

A flurry of commentary has followed Joe Bidens decision to invoke his presidential privilege in issuing a full and unconditional pardon to his son, Hunter Biden, who faced prison time for filing false tax statements, tax evasion, and carrying an unregistered gun. Leading Democrats, including Senator Elizabeth Warren (Mass.) and California Governor Gavin Newsom, came out in opposition to Bidens nepotistic act, and a former Bernie Sanders adviser saw it as a big fuck you to the Democratic Party for forcing him to withdraw from the presidential race.

Commenting in CounterPunch on December 6, Melvin Goodman criticized the hypocrisy of the Democrats who, on the one hand, questioned Bidens moral turpitude and, on the other, failed to point out the presidents major crimes in material, political, and diplomatic support for the Israeli genocide. Goodman, I believe, in correct in this specific critique, but his larger claim about presidents admirable and ethical 50-year political career is quite dubious. Going back to his years in the Senate and as vice president and president, Biden, among his many other acts of bad judgement, has had a long history of being a warmongering chicken hawk defender of US imperial power.

Although he initially held back support for the Gulf War in 1990-1991, he expressed regret for that decision and took hawkish positions on every US invasion thereafter. Even on occasions where he first expressed reservations about US intervention, he always came around to supporting the military option. An extensive research article on Bidens political career found that he backed the constant bombing of Iraq, [promoted] regime change as official policy, and [used] economic sanctions to cripple the country.

Bidens support for the invasion of Afghanistan in 2001 Iraq in 2003, Libya in 2011, and Syria in 2014 opened up the region for US bombing, ground intervention, massive deaths of civilians, displacement of millions of refugees, and permanent instability. In large part, these attacks were gratuitous acts of support for Israel, cynically arming the forces of ISIS and Al Qaeda, as in Syria, in efforts to bring down the Assad government in Damascus, which finally succeeded on December 8, 2024. The radical Islamic group that claimed victory in Syria, Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham is referred to the mainstream media as merely a rebel group, even as the US government still lists it as a terrorist organization. Not a problem, as long as theyre our terrorists.

In support of the 78-day bombing of Syria in 1999, causing the deaths of more than 2,000 civilians, Biden called for a Japanese-German-style occupation of the country, a mindset that points to his predilection for fascist-style reactions (consider Gaza) to perceived enemies. There is nothing inconsistent with his defense of empire and his crimes against humanity in Gaza and the West Bank.

To recognize Israel as an extension of US power in the Middle East is to understand how genocide is just another one of the tools the US has employed against recalcitrant nations and movements. Vietnam was the prime example, but only one in which the mass slaughter of civilians has been a central part of US strategy to break the back of struggles for national liberation.

If George W. Bush is the principal 21st century architect of forever wars in the Middle East, the credit for the disaster in Ukraine and moving the doomsday clock to 90 seconds before midnight (the moment the world ends in nuclear conflagration), the closest its ever been, belongs to Joe Biden. In 2014, as Obamas vice president with the informal portfolio for handling Ukraine, for which he was a super-hawk, Biden helped to design the regime change policy of taking Viktor Yanukovych out of power in Kiev. Unhappy with Yanukovychs ties to Russia, Biden and his main operative, the undersecretary of state for Europe and Eurasia, Victoria Nuland, engineered his ouster with active encouragement and material support for what became the Maidan protests in 2014.

As Ivan Katchanovski has noted, however, the peaceful protests during the Orange Revolution in 2004-2005, which, with direct US involvement denied Yanukovych the presidency, were upgraded in the 2014 Maidan street demonstrations with violent interventions by multiple neo-Nazi organization (Right Sector and Svoboda) snipers that shot protesters and riot police (Berkut) from their positions in nearby buildings and the Hotel Ukraina, turning the plaza into a bloodbath. After the neo-Nazi firebombing of government buildings, Yanukovych was forced to resign and flee from Kiev in February 2014.

Already weeks before, Nuland and the US ambassador to Ukraine were already hand-picking his replacement, Petro (Chocolate King) Poroshenko, who had been an active informant at the US Embassy. Poroshenko, who would serve as Washingtons puppet president, was aligned with the US-backed Our Ukraine faction in the government. At the same time, Nuland also picked the new neoliberal, pro-EU Arseniy Yatsenyuk to be prime minister.

For his support of Poroshenko as president, Biden, like a traditional mafia boss, expected personal favors in return. One was allowing his son Hunter Biden to serve on the board of the Ukraines largest energy company, Burisma. For this, young Biden, along with an adviser to then secretary of state John Kerry, neither with any experience in Ukraine or in the energy sector, received, according to a congressional report, $1 million per year for doing virtually nothing except as acting as totems for US backing. In fact, Biden junior never even travelled to Ukraine. This was clearly a payoff for the service that Biden senior had delivered in the overthrow of the Yanukovych government and the installation of the coup government, two months earlier.

The only cog in the wheel was that a widely-recognized independent-minded prosecutor general, Viktor Shokin, was in the process of investigating the crooked Burisma Holdings company and its billionaire owner Mykola Zlochevsky too studiously. In a series of phone calls between vice president Biden and Poroshenko, as documented by a French podcast, Les Crises, Biden clearly bribed the then Ukrainian president into firing Shokin in exchange for receiving a US-backed IMF loan of $1 billion. Indeed, Biden openly bragged about how, like a wild west sheriff, he gave Poroshenko six hours to respond. The mainstream media saw no problem with the vice president consorting with a corrupt oligarch or in playing a proconsul role in US imperial politics.

Bidens imperial outlooks, drawn from Washingtons and the mainstream medias commitments to maintaining US hegemony in the world, has placed him among the worlds leading war criminals, alongside those, Kennedy, Johnson, and Nixon, who led the genocide in Vietnam, where millions of people were bombed, gassed, maimed, and disfigured by chemical weapons. Hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians and Russians have been killed with American indiscriminate weapons of mass murder under Bidens command. He is also the effective commander in chief of the genocide in Gaza and the West Bank and the mass murder of women and children. Given his political history, a modern restaging of the Nuremberg trials would certainly include Joe Biden on the docket.

Pardoning his son clearly reflects his belief, shared with Trump, that presidents and their families are above the law. Only days after the initial shock at Bidens wanton disregard for what the public widely sees as the corruption of his office and the precedent he has set, leading Democrats began making apologies for his just being a dad. What will the Supreme Court draw from his behavior when it comes to Trump acting above the law?
