Hoping everyone had a great NYE 2023 last night and a good New Years Day 2024 today!
We stuck around the house and watched the NYC Times Square ball drop on the Nashville Rocking Eve syndication. Didn't get too hammerd and it was over-all a good night. For 2024 we brought in the New Year by getting some Chinese food, which was delicious.
Looking forward to getting back in the groove this week -- lots of things on my list to accomplish for 2024! One of them things on the list has been following me around since just before COVID.
How was everyone elses New Years? We know PowerStroker rung in the New Year pulling his truck engine... what about you Rastus and Shawnee?

It was surprisingly really quiet this year, with most neighbours & the neighbourhood making their way to the many beaches here in Tas I'd suggest.
I generally take advantage of this time-of-year with the longer day-long bike-rides, but that's yet to happen due to weather conditions being too hot & sunny. ( The trees give-off a strong strobe effect that annoys you by the end of the day )...Cloudy warm days expected soon, perfect !
The ET's as usual cruised-on by en-mass, & put on a spectacular display, indicating peace & prosperity for all peoples of the universe. ( People will wake-up soon enough I suppose ). There's no-doubt they were in a great mood all week-long !

Glad to hear you had a good one! That is one thing about them clear days -- while it might be no fun for riding the bike due to glare, it's got to be great at night for seeing your pals up in the sky!
