I voted NO...(You raised some great points Stellar btw).

1. Boeing is a US-of-A Defence contractor, so it has many resources.

2. Really cheap flights means little-to-no maintenance.

3. COrona VIrus Disease 2019 also meant that many people who could, left the industry to avoid the "jab", from pilots, engineers, ground-crew etc etc.

4. Aeroplanes are maxed-out in use, so as to keep the turbine-blades warm, so its flight-after-flight-after flight, 24/7/365.25. ( The turbines shyte themselves & crack from the cold to hot heat-cycles, so they keep-them going once up-in-the-air...( Ask Shawnee )).

It seems that as the Military Industrial Complex & its corporate face start losing a grip on controlling its assets via the truth & whistle-blowers, the "wet-works" option puts an end to the squeaky voice...

These mofo's need to remember they are public servants, first & foremost.

And illegally funnelling tax-dollars for USAP's needs to stop too.

All I'm alluring to here, is that we mastered "gravity control" several decades ago, & don't need them any-more anyway.

This is simply milking the US-of-A tax-cow & flight customers for all its worth, whilst supplying parts from the lowest bidders to increase profit.

Every day I am hearing of a new Boeing problem... yesterday it was the engine cover on a Southwest plane from Denver to Houston ripped apart on takeoff, and then another one today about an engine fire on a United Airlines flight from Houston to Florida! 

WTF is going on here? Have these sorts of things always happened but just weren't reported in the past -- or is this something where proper inspections and maintenance just arent happening? 

If we go back in time we used to have access to super-sonic air travel that would take you from NYC to London in just 3 hours! Just ONE of them Concorde planes went down and that was it for the entire line! Nothing has replaced it since! How can we be moving forward when the best of air travel was in days past? You see the head, leg and arm-room on old airline advertisements? Loads of room and near lazy boy plush seating! Not only that but they used to serve meals that were hand carved on a serving cart! Now days you're lucky to get a bottle of water and you're packed in like sardines! Seats are generally sparsely padded and uncomfortable.

Doesn't feel like we're moving forward... feels like we are going backwards in the air travel sector. 

If things keep going this way for Boeing, it's possible their only contracts will be with the Government as the public will soon consider them too risky to board.

 

To answer the title question of this thread, I have seen many instances of white people putting out extremely poor quality workmanship. While possible, I'm not sure diversity hiring had anything to do with this.
