I remember back during the pandemic when Dr. Fauci was just taking in all the publicity while making ridiculous statements and demanding Americans give up their rights to adhere to his now debunked medical advice!

The guy would never pass up an opportunity to appear on TV or take an interview! Every other news story was Fauci this -- Fauci that!

But today at his hearing in front of congress he didn't seem to have much to say other than "I plead the 5th" -- over 70 times!

Even to questions such as, "What color is your tie?" or "What color is the carpet in front of you?"

The problem that Dr. Fauci has is the fact he got a FULL 10 year pardon from Joe Biden! The SCOTUS explicitly said that people who have been pardoned cannot hide behind the 5th amendment!

"Let's just get one thing straight, you don't have any rights under the Fifth Amendment, because you've been pardoned as you very well know," Hawley said, going on to quote the Supreme Court precedent stating that U.S. citizens may not "stand upon his privilege" after being pardoned.

"This isn't about the Constitution. This isn't about the law. This is about contempt. Contempt for this body and contempt for the American people," Hawley said.

I guess maybe don't try and "install" a President at the last minute next time?

Or maybe, like... run people who aren't mentally unfit for office? Or better yet, refrain from voting for people mentally unfit?

Are you guys really gonna try and run Kamala again?

Well... when you run unopposed without any other candidates because you were the only person "installed" at the last minute -- well, that's not exactly what I'd call "Democratic".
