I thought that the S type was a sedan. The XK is the sports car no?

I believe he is referring to an XJS. While not a bad looking car I don’t think they are built all that great.

Now an XKE I would be willing to get involved with as these vehicles exhibited true genius before there day. Such things as

Electronic Fuel Pump

Dual overhead camshafts

Hemispherical heads

Independent Rear limited slip differentials

Wishbone racing style suspension w/coil overs

And a look that demands attention I think the best of Jaguar ended with the XKE. Although I do believe that Fords has refined these vehicles I don’t believe they will gain much respect until the Britt’s buy them back and come up with another marvel that is way before its time. Ford is capable of the task however I don’t think they have the deep burning desire to go out on a limb for Jaguar.

I dont care what you german car lovers like, i would rather be sitting in an s tye coupe or convertible than a silly looking benz with headlight wipers. Come on dont mess with the big cats.

I like Jag but IMO that XJS particulary the one from the 1980's was disgusting. I do however like the XJ type body from 1994-2000. That is a nice car.

Yea I do like what Ford has done, teh cars look good. Also one could hope that parts would be cheaper.
