How to remove the plastic engine cover from the ML Mercedes.

To remove the plastic engine cover to gain access to the top of the engine on the 2000 Mercedes ML 320 all you have to do is simpily pull up (Carefully) on each corner. I would do the front two at the same time and then the back. Be sure to be careful and take your time.

Do all ML Mecedes do this?

When turning the key to the ON position the tach needle will bounce vigerously then zero out. This only happens when you first turn the key to the on position. Does anyone else with a ML notice this but me? Does not seem to affect anything, but I was wondering none the less.
